Just picked up one from Home Depot $499 today 12/22/23. It was on sale $100 off. Good price and time to buy if you’re looking for traeger pro series 22.
Just got mine on sale today too for $499. I burned I just got done burning off everything for a few hours, gonna do my first cook tomorrow morning. How do you like yours so far ?
@@SaL-ep7zb walked into lows on my way and they had the pit boss with the WiFi for nearly the same price not sure if I will use the feature but with having two shelves and getting the cover all for 408 with 20% for getting a card plus the sale I couldn’t beat it. But regardless you still have a good deal with both brands. Good luck
I'll add, don't waste your money on the 575 pro, I have both and this blows it away for smoking. The 575 pro doesn't smoke like this guy. Granted you get more temp fluctuations on this but that's how your smoker smokes. No temp fluctuation = no smoke.
Thanks man, I'm debating on the 22 or the 34 at this point. The 22 would be perfectly fine for my personal use but if I ever have a function or something and I want to or need to cook more that 34 might be a lil more ideal. Currently running a $100 off on the 22 and $200 on the 34 pro series
Oh absolutely! That’s mostly what mine was used for. Tip of advice though that the smoker/pellet grill combos (I love them personally) will not penetrate the meat as much as a traditional smoker will with the smokiness and your smoke ring won’t go as deep but the flavor will be there. This means that after 3 hours in the smoker that you can transfer the meat to your oven if you wanna save on pellets since the meat won’t get anything else from the pellets.

Can you cook a turkey in it?
Saw a comment on another video of this grill saying he does and he won't cook a turkey any other way than using this treager
How do you think this will handle a ham or pork butt
