These are so beautiful. The pink ones are 🔥🔥. Thanks for the tips on trapping the tail string(GENIUS) and when your thread gets a little long. Ive been wondering how to fux that
Hi Debby, a necklace in this style sounds lovely. I don't see a link here and I know UA-cam sometimes eats them. We'd love to see what you made though! Are you following us on any other social media? If you've got Facebook or Instagram or Twitter come find us and tag us with your work there or send us a direct message.
I'm working on an order now on your website. It's great that you have free shipping with orders over $25. This way I can always come back for more as I can afford. I'm a beginner so wish me luck.
Love the design and hope I can make some, but I've had trouble brick stitching onto a round wire form. I'm wondering how you keep the beads of the first row from migrating to the inside of the hoop, other than keeping very loose tension? Sorry if you said during the tutorial, but I missed it.
Thank you for this great instructional video! I’m new to this and am anxious to start making earrings like this. Where can I buy this type of hoops? Thank you again!
Hello ! I just made these earrings, and I can't finish the second... 8 gr of 11/0 for the fringes is not enough! So frustrating! But thank you for the easy to follow and clear explanations!
So sorry to hear this is happening. If you did not receive enough beads to complete the kit, please contact our customer service team at service@beadaholique.com. Thanks!
You can find the style of hoop we're using here: beadaholique.com/products/nunn-design-wire-frame-hoop-drop-31x38-5mm-2-pieces-silver-plated They're 31x38.55mm with 20 gauge thickness.
Hahah, yep! Not everyone says it the right way (I think one of our old designers even mispronounced in our early videos) but it's meant to have that french infection at the end
Is there a reason you’ve done the stitching with separate thread rather than one long one right from the very beginning ? I’m learning as I go and picking info up along the way and I don’t have the patience (or time) to watch a full video and maybe you’ve mentioned it and I’ve missed it. I was having a stressful series of disasters while trying to do brickstitch with nymo as I wanted to add looser fringe but my nymo just wouldn’t cooperate, finally I decided to try the Fireline, my first time with it went without a hitch, I’d recommend EVERYONE to learn with Fireline / Wildfire etc as it took so much of the hassle away.
It's alright to start with all the thread you need. This is an individual preference mostly. Longer threads can tangle or snag while you're working and some people prefer to avoid that. We like to teach the tying off method in our videos because it's a useful skill for recovering from common mistakes like measuring the wrong length of thread.
Beadaholique thank you for such a quick reply and that makes perfect sense, I just wanted to make sure it didn’t have to be done one way or the other or it that it could depending on the design itself/technique itself. Kia Kaha ❤️😷🇳🇿
Hi Christy, sorry to say we don't have any left-handed designers to make tutorials for us these days but one of our previous designers was left-handed. You can see a collection of Rachel's videos here: beadaholique.com/collections/instructional-beading-videos?_=pf&pf_t_designer=0-Designer%3ARachel%20Zaimont
Hi Heather, are you asking if the wire hoop was homemade? For these earrings we used pre-made wire hoop findings. Compared to homemade ones these are more durable. If you're interested in learning to make basic hoops by hand we have an older video tutorial on that: ua-cam.com/video/oMUAabbNpX8/v-deo.html
We are working on restocking these kits and you will see them back in the coming weeks. For now, I can confirm we have beads in the same size available, Miyuki Round 11/0. Here is a link: beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=miyuki%2011%2F0&_=pf&pf_st_availability=true&pf_t_size=0-Size%3A11%2F0

I appreciate you stopping at a problem spot and showing how you fix it
Thanks :) We've always found it's better to show our mistakes them edit them out. They're such good teaching opportunities.

this is really clever....i loved the idea
Thanks Rebecca, glad you liked it!
I love this however i'm just curious as to what the gauge of the hoop frame is?it looks kind of thick. I do think you did a great job.
We're using 20 gauge 31x38.5mm hoops from Nunn Design for these kits
I love this. This thing just gave me an idea now 😄😄😄 yayyyy
Do you think using the the fire line is better than using the nylon thread. Gives it more strength and bulk??

I like how you say beadaholique, not like alcoholic, but like it's a real french word.

Very nicely explained 😊
Thank you!
