Ordered my Boox Tab Ultra from Best Buy today and just ordered this screen protector for it. You are good at reviews. You sold me on buying! Without even trying!

Thanks Voja, always interesting and informative reviews.
I bought 3 of the Doodroo, for three devices, iPad Pro 12.9 & 9.7 and for my BOOX Tab Ultra C.
Watched your video, watched their video, prepared my workspace and my device (12.9) ready for installation. I have done this previously on another device with a different screen protector.
Aligned the Doodroo, applied the tape to hold it in place. Got to the point where I had removed the backing cover, to stick it onto the screen, 1/3 into it, I see an air bubble 😮, a dot…. ! This is where it started to go wrong! Do not do what I did!
I reversed to remove the one dot 😮😢 and I did it again… there is static in the film, that will attract dust!
Now I have too may bubbles and dust points.
What I should have done was to just continue in one motion and gotten it down. I might have had one or two dust marks. Yes, there is a second sheet, but this is a relatively expensive exercise to mess up.
On the other hand and much brighter side, the feel of the Doodroo, is very nice, the handwriting experience is good. I know this is on an iPad, I will get to the BOOX when I have built up my courage to try again.
Feel. Not like sandpaper but if you run your finger nail surface on the screen, you can see a slight abrasive mark from your nail. Very interesting. I also have a Healing Shield coming.
Thought I would share my experience here.

I'm more of a *pen* on paper kind of guy rather than pencil on paper, so this sort of thing isn't for me. But wow, what a cool test you've concocted! You've proven their marketing with science! Perfect timing.. i’m on the hunt for a screen protector for my Tab Ultra. Thank you for your very objective and honest review of the screen protector. Am kinda disappointed there is no discount code as this is at least your second video reviewing Doodroo, and they used your Nova Air video on their website. Doodroo can do more and better for their content creators.

I was watching this hoping it would have low reflectivity; which seems to be the big issue with protectors for these devices and my main concern. I'll stick with the standard screen for now until they come out with something closer to the actual screen surface. Thanks for reviewing.

My tab ultra has yet to arrive. I also ordered the Vaxson 3-Pack Screen Protector which was the only one available on Amazon US. My use need is for the protective function, not to change any interactive quality. Hopefully there is no noticeable visual degradation. No one has posted a review. Anybody here tried it?

Well I just made same move - Boox Ultra arrived on day of posting this video for very same reason - wanted to use eink in more cases and found out that Note Air 1st gen is good mainly for reading/notes while this product is a proper tablet.
Pro advice for anyone using Onyx devices - always skip at least one generation.

I write in Scrivener which is great but not the best atmosphere to review my work at the end of the day as it is rather taxing. However, if I could review it on a e-ink screen and add notes easy to reference... that really would be something.
There seems to be three main UA-camrs where I hoped to find direction regarding this issue _[Kit, Voja & Brandon],_ yet to date haven't yet stumbled upon a video that addresses reviewing e-books as well as the organisation issues surrounding this topic. I'm leaving this comment on all three channels in the hope that one or more might address the issue or point me to a video that does.

Honestly the combo of that stylus and real paper probably exceeds or at least sounds like it exceeds the friction of paper and pen or pencil. Would love to see you rig that friction test up with stylus nibs and their counterpart tabs and then get paper and ball point pen and paper and pencil values for a comparison
Paper with the wood of pencil is different to lead etc. that may give more accurate representations of writing experience. Just a thought

I don't think you are ever going to find your perfect screen protector.
You were on the right path with the PaperLike screen protector.
You can't just expect some magical material to do all of the work. If the PaperLike material solves the reflectivity problem and the gives a good paperlike feel, but you don't like the sound, then you need to compromise with the pencil tip material.
