I have had rotator cuff problems for almost two years. My physical therapist had me do those exact three WRONG exercises and it did nothing for me. I have been losing sleep and just decided to look for more advice. After doing those exercises one night, I was able to sleep on both of my sides again. You are awesome!
No one appreciates a parrot in the room but, “me too”! I did two of the 3 correct ones )I can’t get on knees and wrists - arthritis 😒) as prescribed yesterday and I’m getting relief. Gotta keep up the good work! ❤️
I thank the Lord I have found your videos, I have suffered pain for years (I am 83) you are the only person to explain everything in such a way, for the first time I know what to do and not to do, already I am having success x
I too had horrible long term shoulder, arm, lat pain. Did the wrong stretching and therapy all along. Did only your three exercises and immediately felt results. Three days later it is nothing short of a miracle to me. Thank you.
As someone that cannot afford Health Insurance... you are a true hero. I'm an ICU respiratory therapist and I know a hero when I see one. You are not a proficient MD. You are much much more. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. P.S. I never comment on videos but your videos are so excellent they compel me to do so.
I’m 64 years old, have always been very active, and I’ve been dealing with rotator cuff issues for several years. I had surgery on my left shoulder a year ago. He is exactly right about the exercises physical therapists have you do I am trying to heal my right shoulder without surgery because it was extremely hard on the muscles of my upper back, not being able to move and stretch like I normally do. I highly recommend watching all of his videos and following the exercises he recommends. I can tell in my body those are exactly the muscles that need to be strengthened. Thank you so much for providing this material!
Hey Robin, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry you've had to deal with shoulder rotator cuff issues and surgery like this for so long. In case you need it, here is a link to the Rotator Cuff Tear Recovery Program: www.epmanualphysicaltherapy.com/rotator-cuff-tear-recovery-program/ We also have a rotator cuff tear help playlist on our channel: "Rotator Cuff Tear Help" ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mbQ_-1YFfEePnrcxfwwf9_k.html Hope this helps! Thank you for spreading the word, Robin! All the best
No wonder, I felt like I got progressively worst at physical therapy. 2 of the 3 exercises, they had me to do. 😠! Thank you for showing a better way to heal
Out of the blues this week I started with acute pain in my left shoulder nothing worked, no ice , pain medicine, massage or muscle stimulation. It came without warning or reason , I suppose its old age as it was so painful that I couldn’t sleep, cook or get dressed without constant pain. I watched lots of videos and I try your routine with excellent results . In one day I got some improvement and in two day the pain was gone. I will continue with the 3 exercises and I am going to follow you for rehabilitation. Thanks you are great and I appreciate your videos. 5:21 February 10 2024.
Watching from Zimbabwe i have a dislocation,on my Chest ,when using,my right hand, its painful ,even my neck is painful ,when i sleep ,i use my back cant use my sides,,Dr Told ne nothing can be done ,onmy Chest you can see the dislocation ,will try your 3 steps hope they will help me. 11:02
Thx Doctor. I had RC surgery on my right shoulder 3 years ago, and I am now diagnosed with a partial tear on my left. I don't want the surgery again as it's such a slow process in healing and getting my strength back. I will start your exercise program. TY
Oh my gosh. Wonder I've not been healing and in this brutal pain soaring in my rotator cuff for over two months, waking me three times during the night. Waiting for an injection with me being told, i need an operation. Don't want one. However, I've been thinking i might go ahead, until i saw your video. Going to do these exercises several times a day and more. I do believe that you've saved me from brutal pain. Yours hopeful.❤😊
I’ve done all the exercises that you said were wrong for years…I did your exercises and I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but my pain is 80% gone in one day…I’m shocked!!
Thank you so much for these videos! I have been unable to sleep without arm & shoulder pain for 18 months! I had an MRI that shows a near full thickness tear of the supraspinatus in the rotator cuff And the orthopaedic doctor wants to do surgery. I have never been shown these exercises before by any physiotherapist and I will immediately start doing them!
I’ve had this injury for almost 5mths and the 3 worse exercises are the ones I’ve been doing and every time I do them I feel worse but keep getting told to push on. I think my physio just using me as an ATM machine lmao
Been having this problem since last 10 years approx. Understood the problem and the anatomy. Also the good and the bad exercises for the issue. Very well explained and demonstrated. Thanks to you and your team.
Hey Bimal! Glad to hear the explanations of these exercises were helpful! :-) Here are some suggestions that could help: "Rotator Cuff Tear Help" ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mbQ_-1YFfEePnrcxfwwf9_k.html
both shoulders riled up after working hard in the yard for a week. Didnt hit me till about 3 weeks later and holy crap what did I do!! now i know now and these by far are instant relief!! i am amazed after 5 months of dealing WITH THE SLEEPLESS NIGHT AND PAIN...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
You are very welcome Dave! We are so happy to hear that you got instant relief from this! Thank you for checking in and letting us know that this worked for you!
You’re probably the best physio out there.. your exercises are amazing, but ironically, I discovered the second one by myself when trying to work through some stretches that gave me relief. So I can definitely say your exercises seem to make a lot of sense. I have cervical herniation but I also have some soreness around my right deltoids.. I’m not sure if it’s tendonitis or tear or what, but it’s usually pain when I’m doing heavy gym only. But your exercises are starting to prove to be very helpful and my pain is almost going away. Thank you so much!
I wish your videos were available long ago, I had my right shoulder Rotator cuff operated on twice 7 years ago which good now, and my left shoulder injured after a hard fall, MRI indicated a tear on left side. I am benefiting from these exercises, the right shoulder is getting stronger while the right side is healing. I have also watched your other videos. Thank you.
Tks doc I hv rotator cuff tear on both shoulders since 5 mths im.snr citizen n diabetic n hv been to 4 different physiotherapist n they made me do different types of exercises which was painful but my ROM hs improved recently I went to consult an orthopedic dr who advised an mri n said I got a tear on my RC..he suggested light exercises n given me joint heal n collagen tabs n medications but will do ur exercises don't no if I cud do yr cat exercises i lso apply medical oil mxed with coldpressed mustard oil on my shoulders as wel as on my knees..watching from India
After doing only the first good exercise I felt the pain going away towards the end of it and recovered some of my shoulder motion w/o pain, I'm gonna do the other 2 excercises and make it a daily routine. Thank you so very much!
My Physical Therapist has been having me to do those 3 wrong exercises. They have done me no good at all! Plus I haven't had a M.R.I. yet, so they don't even know what my problem really is yet! They don't really care! Thanks for showing me those 3 worse exercises so I don't continue hurting myself. I will try the 3 best ones.
Hey there, sorry to hear that! We made this video because it is very common for people to be told to do these exercises that just cause pain. We are glad we were able to help you understand a bit better. In case you would like to know our recommendations on which exercises to do, here is a link to one of our playlists for rotator cuff tears: "Rotator Cuff Tear Help" ua-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mbQ_-1YFfEePnrcxfwwf9_k.html
I have been doing physical therapy for 3 months for neck and shoulder stiffness and pain. My therapist had me doing those exact exercises you said can make it worse. Now i know why it is getting worse not better. Thank you for your advise!
Hey Linda! We are so sorry to hear that the exercises that your therapist had you do only made things worse for you and resulted in more pain and stiffness. Here are some exercises that you might find beneficial to help with your rotator cuff issue: "Top 5 Rotator Cuff Tear Exercises To Actually Help Heal And Avoid Surgery" We wish you the best on the road to recovery! 🙌

I just watched 3 Best and Worst exercises for rotator cuff pain. I’m in week 11 after rotator cuff surgery and am doing the row exercises with elastic cords and pull downs with my elbows kept against my side. Would you feel the same about them during post surgery PT? I’m making progress in my PT but still deal with achiness and discomfort after a session. I can and do many exercises at home aside from my 2 days a week at the facility. Thank you for all your videos, I’ve learned a lot even though you dealing with preventing surgeries.
I wish this video came out 9 years ago when I tore my rotator cuff.. that injury completely changed my life cause it was undiagnosed, I wasn't told to get an mri or anything, and because I was only 19 years old I just listened to the Dr when he said just go home and it will heal. And it did. But it stopped me from doing ant upper body movements for over 5 years. Only recently have I been able to workout without pain.
As a medical massage therapist, I find your videos the most helpful yet! Question: The first three "don't do" exercises are used for after surgery, but not for a tear not yet treated. Is that correct? Thanks so much for showing the "to do" exercises. I have many folks come in with shoulder issues (pre surgery) and your professional experience and advice are much appreciated. :)
Thanks for the information. I began doing the cat position (the position on your hands and knees) a while ago. It was amazing the difference it made! In the beginning I felt my shoulders were out of balance and my bad shoulder was weaker and shorter than the good side. Now both shoulders are strong and I no longer feel one side is shorter than the other. Still working on other exercises though. I no longer have constant pain (mainly due to the cat position) but am working now on getting mobility back.
In the third BEST excercise, i feel lot of pain, big discomfort, ouch my shoulder, its not for me. But first and second BEST excercise not problem for me, yea in the first little pain for 0,5 second, but can be endured. Thank you doktor David❤
Thank you for this video! I hurt my shoulder doing a seated incline dumbell bicep curl. The pain lasted for four months until I got an injection. Now I want to strengthen this area to prevent the pain from returning. I will start with these 3 exercises and stop those 3 you mentioned, which my doctor gave me to do! Thank you so much! Any other videos you did on how to strengthen surrounding muscles?
Hi Mary, we are so sorry that you hurt your shoulder during your exercise. That is truly the worst when you get set back like that 😣 We are glad to hear that you will be implementing these exercises to help heal though. Remember to begin with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not. We hope this helps! Please keep us posted on your progress 🧡
My physiotherapist had me doing external & internal band extensions for a 60% rotor tear the pain the next day was excruciating thanks for your advice I’m trying your system now cheers from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy your reply means a lot, ESB lineman for 42 years I’m 62 now and retired due to electrical accident/ injury will keep you posted on my progress God bless you all 🇨🇮
I can't believe the exercises they put me through at physical therapy and without first figuring out what was wrong with my shoulder in the first place. They had me doing the wrong ones. I was in so much pain I couldn't take it anymore and quit physical therapy. My shoulder gradually started feeling better doing nothing. I've been doing some of the ones you recommend and am feeling the difference already! Thank you so much for your videos! 🪂🚁
My both hips arthritis pain is gone. I exercise my glutes the way you recommend and I walk wit my “toes grabbing” motion. The pain is gone!! Thank you Dr David, you really know what you are talking about. Now I’m working on my left knee minor pain with swinging and foot rotation exercises. I expect the pain to be gone soon. You are great. Please make a video about hanging exercises. I have minor pain in my right shoulder and I saw a video about hanging exercises to ease the pain. It wasn’t done by you. I only believe in your pain relieving exercises and I hope to see the hanging exercise done by you
This video was an absolute godsend. 6 months of dealing with a weird pain doing pushups and chest press with dumb bells. Pain was in middle deltoid. I was doing all 3 wrong ones. Wow

Ive been to pt also and they had me doing the 3 worst ones...from a novice perspective what he's saying and teaching makes sense...which is to exercise the shoulder without putting pressure on the outside of the shoulder or working it too hard or "stretching" it.
My pt has me do two of the ones you said were wrong. The stretch band pull and the wind shield wiper one. I will do those three you mentioned on here and see what she says. She is a advanced PT.
Thank you SO much, and thanking Lilly as well for helping. I'm SO glad to know the bad ones, as I've been encouraged to do them. I began, and in most situations I did not do them at home. I'm going to start doing those "good" exercises tonight, and into tomorrow and ongoing until my MRI schedule comes up. I definitely do not want to have surgery done. Overall mine does not appear to be serious, as I started with dry needling and could tell I was improving. My initial thought was it may be inflammation. Anyway, thanks again!
When I tried the first exercise, I had too much pain attempting it. I had to put the pillow much further under my (right) scapula in order to accomplish the windshield motion without pain. Am I doing a bad thing in putting that pillow under that scapula? I really want to avoid surgery. I appreciate your expertise so very much!
WOW those 3 were given to me by therapist for left shoulder issue I had NOT sure they helped seemed like got well with me doing nothing. I now have probably slight tear on right shoulder from tennis. Its gotten better but still bothers me on high backhands and a few types of weight lifting. I was doing some those INCORRECT and no help. I will give these 3 exercises a shot THANKS bunch

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Thank you for caring enough to respond back. Im a middle school office supervisor and hurt my elbow by fixing 80 bulletin boards a couple of years ago. My shoulder and elbow were never the same after that week. The constant use of my shoulder stapling is the root cause however my shoulder pain has progressed to the point where I can barely move my arm. I woke up around 2am with my ring and pinky numb. It’s so painful. Is this bad?? I went to the workmans comp Dr on Monday and she gave me a lotion and salonpas. Dr said I didn’t need an x ray or MRI. Said only need PT and acupuncture but that was told they’d contact me. It’s been 3 agonizing days and no response from them. What do you recommend I do? I feel I wasn’t diagnosed correctly by just a visual of my arm. Last night at 2am I was literally doing the exercises you recommended. -Luz
Thank you, I'm a professional dancer singer on tour and all of a sudden my right rotor cuff became mild yet a fear of a rip was in my mind. I started doing " PT " for my shoulder including the exercises you did not recommend eekkk. So I have stopped them. Right now I think I have an impingement, can you give any exact exercises for impingement of the shoulder? Help..., thank you. Also ... I'm extremely flexible, have full rotation, flexion, pronation, everything ...just pain especially when I attempt to.. doing action like pulling up your pants, that's when it hurts the most....help. and thank you.. looking for a reply😮😊
I have been doing your suggested exercises for a couple of months on a regular basis. I feel they have helped. The pain in my shoulder returns after any exercise or sports activity. Do you have other recommendations or maybe a suggestion of who to see in my area?? Thanks!
Thank you doc so much for the ebooks. God bless you...doing your 3 good exercises regularly now for frozen shoulder, not sure if rotator cuff tear but feeling good. Thank you for your exclusive time to help ppl out on youtube. I have a question please if u can advise if any of your youtube videos may help me... I walked alot today cos bus stop and shopping centre is quiet far...got on the bus after 45min walk and then 20min bus ride...my knee began locking with pain 9 out of 10...anterior side of left knee...i had a bad shopping experience walking on that leg and limping cos I couldn't bend it well....im in pain, cant get up after sitting. What exercise would you recommend pls😊😊😊.

Will definitely try these exercises. I haven’t been to the gym in six months because the pain got so bad and I almost passed out. Was trying to build up the muscles. Pretty sure I’ve got damage in both rotator cuff. Will definitely be trying this. I think the right one already got better from Switching tasks to the left arm. Thanks in advance.
I've had shoulder pain forever. And when I started lifting again, it started to hurt again (bench press). So I had seen someone doing the first one you showed us here, at the gym. I though I could do that as a warm up to avoid pain. Oh boy, that was soooo paiful. I can totally attest to it being the wrong thing to do.
Hi Natalia, Thank you so much for sharing your situation with us!🧡 We are so sorry to hear that you hurt yourself and hope that you were able to recover.🙌. I've hurt my shoulder 3 weeks ago. An orthopedic doctor is leaning towards rotator cuff tear. I've started doing the first exercise a few days ago and it seems to be helping (at first, the range of motion was quite limited but now it's getting better). I followed the instructions and always stopped at the angle when it begun to hurt, though. Could you say when it hurt you (during or after this exercise, when lifting?)

Wow--I had two muscles reattached to my shoulder in '07. In rehab therapy my therapist had me do the exercises that you said NOT to do. I did those exercises religiously about 3 times a day. It took me 10 month to heal. Thank goodness my shoulder is okay today. Of course my other shoulder has an impingement and tear and feels like is coming out of place now. :( Thanks for your videos I have been watching your ACL tear no surgery. Take care
Have issues with both shoulders. Hurt when yanking up stuck garage door. Doctor says no tears but strained and inflamed. Going on 5 months... Just started strengthening exercises... can't get into therapy for a couple more weeks... sleeping a little better but still have pain. Going to try the 3 good methods but have been doing that first bad method with a 5 pound weight... kinda painful... Would you still recommend staying away from the bad 3 with strained as opposed to torn ?
Another excellent video! Would the three good exercises be useful for frozen shoulder? Haven’t had an MRI yet, but impossible to move you arm behind the back, reach overhead… Etc.
i really like your videos,, im 55 male very active and about 9 months a go i got a Mri,it says i have a 1.5 cm partial thickness bursal surface tear it extends the length of the length of the tendon and the Myotendinous region,no full thickness tear is seen,,,do you think it will heal on its own? or do i need surgery?? thank you..
What's frustrating is that here we have a lot/most recommending the "3 bad" ones... I had rotator cuff tear and did physio therapy and they were among the top 10 ones suggested.. And here it's recommended against them. How's possible these shoudler experts giving the wrong exercises all along? Random youtube videos is one thing, but established physio keep recommending them is another... I've been having shoulder pain from partial tear over the years that keeps reappearing.. I'm scheduled for another MRI due to recent months pain. Perhaps another factor is age, mid 60s here, where years long damage has caused enough damage... thanks for your videos!
I had rotator cuff surgery and rehab. My PT program was approved by the Orthopedic surgeon. How is it that you know better than these doctors and seasoned PT professionals? Thanks
Hello, I have confirmed (MRI’s & X-ray’s) of two complete rotator cuff tear on both my shoulders. Two doctors advised me for a total replacement which I both refuse and to defer later on. Lately I have been having pain on my shoulders and neck. I tried the trigger point procedure to my neck and seems it helped. Now I need help relieving pains on my shoulders. Should I do the impingement exercises or the rotator cuff exercises. I’m not sure which one to use or maybe use both and hoping for your advice. Thank you for all your videos and helpful advice.
I have pain on my left shoulder started in March of 2023, still having pain and trouble with sleeping on my left shoulder and reaching behind my back. I had a MRI done in April 27, 2023. The MRI shows two minor tears; a low-grade interstitial tearing of the supraspinatus tendon (mild subscapularis tendinopathy) and moderately attenuated and partially torn intra-articular biceps tendon. Also have small cystic focus adjacent to the lesser tuberosity and abutting the biceps and subscapularis tendon measuring 0.8 x 0.6 cm likely a small ganglion cyst. I started PT in May of 2023 for 3 months the pain seemed to stay the same or a little worst. My PT had me do the 3 worse exercise you described in your video, plus other exercises. Medicare stop paying for the PT, so I continue the exercise at home and stop playing golf, my shoulder pain seems to get worse. So I decide to stop the exercise and went saw a second orthopedic doctor for a second opinion. He suggest a cortisone shot and anti inflammatory drug for 10 days (I am on my 7th day of taking the drug). It did help a bit with the pain, but still have mild pain when sleeping on my shoulder and pain when reaching behind my back. I am trying to avoid surgery at all cost. So I will start the exercises you suggest in this video to see if will help. Any other suggest you can give me, would be appreciated. I glad I found this video.

🎉 I've torn at least one, maybe two, rotator cuff muscles with an anatomic total shoulder replacement. The shoulder is totally unstable now and I'm looking at a reverse total shoulder replacement.
OMG I’ve had rotator cuff problems plus tear on bicep for years. Following PT instructions, was doing the 3 worst exercises 3 times a week for years. Now I know why it never got better. Will start with your 3 best but maybe the damage is done? Thank you.
Hey Vivien! Sorry to hear you have been struggling with this for so long :-( It is likely some damage has occurred, but it is also possible to heal that damage as well! We would love to hear an update in the future!
I have a hill sachs deformity with a RC tear and when I do the second exercise, you recommend my left shoulder humerus falls forward and it feels like it wants to fall out. What do I do? It’s day 8 for me since I dislocated it. I can barely lift it forward and lateral maybe only 1 inch unassisted.
My tear gives me pain in almost every part of my arm and sometimes my hands and fingers. A sudden jerking of my arm can leave me in agony for minutes at a time. Is this normal? Also I can't sleep properly on either side. The injury is in my left shoulder but lying on my right the weight of my arm causes more problems than lying on my left. I have for years used more than one pillow to keep my head high.
I can barely touch my hand down on the last exercise and i can’t move it away from my head at all. What type of scan would confirm the extent of a tear?
I have had rotator cuff problems for almost two years. My physical therapist had me do those exact three WRONG exercises and it did nothing for me. I have been losing sleep and just decided to look for more advice. After doing those exercises one night, I was able to sleep on both of my sides again. You are awesome!
No one appreciates a parrot in the room but, “me too”! I did two of the 3 correct ones )I can’t get on knees and wrists - arthritis 😒) as prescribed yesterday and I’m getting relief. Gotta keep up the good work! ❤️
Same here, did the wrong ones, felt "i stretch so it must help", but the pain in the night gets worser🤷♂️🤦♂️
Thank you for your exercise program
Will the cuff tears ever repair itself ? For example ligament tears, never fuse back itself. Tyvm
These are the exact exercises I have been doing without success! 😮
Thank you.
I have the same thing when I move my arm it pops
Best guy on the net knows his stuff , really helping me , and explains it in detail slow and precise

I am a victim of a hit and run while riding my bicycle. 30 years ago. So now I have a brace and am taking vitamins. Thanks for the demo.
I hurt and therefore I am grateful for your help.
Hi Crow Whisperer! WoW! 🤩 We are grateful for you! Thank you so much for your support! 🌟
Thx Doctor. I had RC surgery on my right shoulder 3 years ago, and I am now diagnosed with a partial tear on my left. I don't want the surgery again as it's such a slow process in healing and getting my strength back. I will start your exercise program. TY
@newts1964 Yes. It didn't work for me. Slated for surgery at the end of September.
Maybe it worked for other people. But not for me. @newts1964
Absolutely right i increased my problem by doing those worst exercises but realised very early.
I’ve been doing the exact wrong exercises no wonder I’m still healing…Thank you
Myself as well
Thank you You have given me ideas on how to avoid more damage in a working out situation.
Been having this problem since last 10 years approx.
Understood the problem and the anatomy. Also the good and the bad exercises for the issue. Very well explained and demonstrated. Thanks to you and your team.
Hey Bimal! Glad to hear the explanations of these exercises were helpful! :-) Here are some suggestions that could help:

Thank you, you saved my life! I’m getting sleep for the first time in3 months 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼💪🏼✌🏼♥️
both shoulders riled up after working hard in the yard for a week.
❤
My Physical Therapist has been having me to do those 3 wrong exercises. They have done me no good at all! Plus I haven't had a M.R.I. yet, so they don't even know what my problem really is yet! They don't really care! Thanks for showing me those 3 worse exercises so I don't continue hurting myself. I will try the 3 best ones.
Thank you for the info. I have been doing all of these wrong exercises
Hey there, sorry to hear that! We made this video because it is very common for people to be told to do these exercises that just cause pain. We are glad we were able to help you understand a bit better. In case you would like to know our recommendations on which exercises to do, here is a link to one of our playlists for rotator cuff tears:

I have been doing physical therapy for 3 months for neck and shoulder stiffness and pain. My therapist had me doing those exact exercises you said can make it worse. Now i know why it is getting worse not better. Thank you for your advise!
Hey Linda! We are so sorry to hear that the exercises that your therapist had you do only made things worse for you and resulted in more pain and stiffness.

Hey Linda! The Rotator Cuff Tear Recovery Program has officially launched check it out here:
The Rotator Cuff Tear Recovery Program is a comprehensive program designed to get your shoulder pain under control to allow the rotator cuff tendons to heal. Then it guides you to correct the underlying root muscle imbalances so that you can fix the source of the problem (rather than just treat the symptoms) and get long-term relief from shoulder pain. This program works even if you've had rotator cuff surgery in the past but continue to have rotator cuff problems.
I can’t believe I was taught the 3 worst exercises by my PT!! No wonder my shoulder is not healing!!
Boy, I hope those work! Been dealing with shoulder pain after falling on it for three months. And yes, my PT at work gave me the Wrong exercise!
My physiotherapist had me doing external & internal band extensions for a 60% rotor tear the pain the next day was excruciating thanks for your advice I’m trying your system now cheers from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪

I only believe in your pain relieving exercises and I hope to see the hanging exercise done by you
His exercises are the best.
Thanks for another informative and helpful video!! So glad I found your channel.

Ive been to pt also and they had me doing the 3 worst ones...from a novice perspective what he's saying and teaching makes sense...which is to exercise the shoulder without putting pressure on the outside of the shoulder or working it too hard or "stretching" it.
I think you just saved the rest of my life-- (I hope!). Thank you!
What happens if you have a neck issue like you said? Does change the healing process?
Going to try this thanks
Let us know how it goes!
Yes ! I avoided everything by taking your advice
Wohooo!! Thanks for sharing this with us Mike!! Keep us posted!
It’s 2:00 am and I’m in severe pain. I can’t sleep. I’m def trying these exercises asap.

-Luz
Thankyou for your clear wise care! 🙏
When can I get back to doing overhead presses and lateral raises? Or should I not do them anymore 😢?
In regards to the exercises not to do… Wouldn’t it depend on the location and type of tear?
😊 trying your exercises they have help me out alot . Thankyou so much
I have been doing your suggested exercises for a couple of months on a regular basis. I feel they have helped. The pain in my shoulder returns after any exercise or sports activity.
Do you have other recommendations or maybe a suggestion of who to see in my area??
Thanks!
No answer?
How long do you recommend doing this though? So is it everyday until we’re healed?
Thank you doc so much for the ebooks. God bless you...doing your 3 good exercises regularly now for frozen shoulder, not sure if rotator cuff tear but feeling good. Thank you for your exclusive time to help ppl out on youtube.
I have a question please if u can advise if any of your youtube videos may help me...

When i do "windshield wipers" i get cracking noices but no pain. Is that normal with tendonitis?
Thanks, Doctor....

Thanks for your videos I have been watching your ACL tear no surgery.
Can you explain the why behind the shoulder shrug on the overhead movement when she was laying on your back ?
Another excellent video!
Would the three good exercises be useful for frozen shoulder? Haven’t had an MRI yet, but impossible to move you arm behind the back, reach overhead… Etc.
😊
i really like your videos,, im 55 male very active and about 9 months a go i got a Mri,it says i have a 1.5 cm partial thickness bursal surface tear it extends the length of the length of the tendon and the Myotendinous region,no full thickness tear is seen,,,do you think it will heal on its own? or do i need surgery?? thank you..
This is very helpful. Thank you!
Do you help online? Because I'm in UK
Thanks, its best exercise.
Glad you found this useful Amjad!
How long should do these exercises
I had rotator cuff surgery and rehab. My PT program was approved by the Orthopedic surgeon. How is it that you know better than these doctors and seasoned PT professionals? Thanks
Thank you
Took your advice wow wow you fix me bad bad pain in shoulder work ❤❤
Hello, I have confirmed (MRI’s & X-ray’s) of two complete rotator cuff tear on both my shoulders.
Thank you so much Sir
Thank you for this video. Great information
Glad it was helpful!
Can I do the #1 and # 2 only?

We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!
🎉 I've torn at least one, maybe two, rotator cuff muscles with an anatomic total shoulder replacement. The shoulder is totally unstable now and I'm looking at a reverse total shoulder replacement.
Can we do the pillow exercise with light dumbbell like 2 kg ones
It's great and useful information, thank you so much Dr Manual.🙏🙏👏👏👏👌👌🌹🌸🌺🌻💐
How do you know when you need surgical intervention?
Thanks!
Hi Joni! 👋 You are very welcome! 🌟
Thank you!!!!!! Mil gracias!!!!
I can barely touch my hand down on the last exercise and i can’t move it away from my head at all. What type of scan would confirm the extent of a tear?
I have problems on both rotator cuff partial tear and long head bicep tendinitis. How can I fix it? Please help me!
Hope I would be healed!
