Have this DVD. I'm not the biggest death metal fan but since 95' on hearing Cause Of Death I have admired Obituarys sound and Johns vocals. I love how he approaches the mic and just belts it out!!! AWESOME VOCALIST! Never fails to impress. .
Obituary are one of the all time greats. They still sound brutal as ever while many of their peers are way past their best. They never disappoint live. I saw them here in the UK touring with Carcass and Napalm Death - both of whom were also brilliant. I've seen Napalm probably 5-6 times over the years and they're also consistently great. Obituary I've seen 3-4 times, and they have such a unique sound and intensity. Of the 'newer' bands I've heard, I really like what Skeletal Remains are doing.

I was there. Party San 2008. The whole Line Up was fucking amazing. I saw every Band. It was a perfect Festival and the Tickets were Limited to 10k copies so no bullshit like Wacken.
Fuckin bad ass!! I grew up listening to these guys and I'm amazed that they sound better live. Music is still just as important to me at 38 years of age than it was when I was when 14. I talked to an old friend who said that he will never feel the excitement of music again like he did when he was younger. I disagree!!
