Thanks Kat and Mark, I think nowadays , the social media distraction that everyone is subjected to, is becoming an issue in some instances, like impacting productivity , services and our mental health! For example, In my town I can notice how customer service is deteriorating fast the employees are so distracted on their phones!. I personally struggle so much at trying to manage my social media, some friends tell me things like 'how come you don't know this or that?! It's everywhere on social media since about 30 minutes ago!?´ 'Oh Well'. I do my best to start the day with excercise, work through my day objectives, take some meaningful training (High Level Listening is on top), and leave social media till the end, cause it's so addictive. I don't use social media often. What I use the most is UA-cam, because it's a learning tool for me. What I never use is Facebook😅. WhatsApp just to exchange a message every day with family 😅. Thank you, one more helpful classroom😊

Hello, I'm on platforms like Facebook and UA-cam more often than I should be. Getting sucked into endless scrolling applies to me, too and what I can't stand any longer are those clickbaity ads that lead you to uninteresting, dull content that doesn't add up to anything really worth knowing or seeing. This lesson is so packed with so many new expressions that I need to rewatch it. So, going back to what you asked, falling into a rabbit hole like Alice in Wonderland. Is this expression used so often in everyday and informal situations? When you get sucked into something, can I use this expression in different contexts? Thank you for another interesting lesson. The use of English you offer is terrific and I was wondering whether I should create some maps or perhaps tables comparing some expressions or words used differently in your varieties of English😊.
Hi good morning! Yessss we use this phrase a lot "going down the rabbit hole" "I got sucked into something" I went down a whole rabbit hole of videos on cooking cheesecake.... now I'm studying the history of cheesecake in Spain!
It happens all the time, blog posts and clickbaity ads want us to get stuck in their rabbit hole!

it's so informative I've learnt so many things. I was todays years old when you were talking about website and platform. and to answer to your question there two social platforms that I use the most is UA-cam and Tandem and i get so sucked in tandem that everytime I'm on tandem I lose track of time. Anyway thanks a lot again to you two you're amazing. when I wach your video I kill two birds with one stone I chillax and most importantly I always learn something new. I can't wait for the next lesson.
