I feel like I've seen those "Lizard Men of Tok" in an older Jack Kirby monster comic. It's some story about a kid who's watching a TV show about aliens from outer space but then he realizes they're actually signals from real aliens preparing for an invasion so he tries to warn everyone and nobody believes him.
I remember the first cartoon Fantastic Four '67 actually had the FF fighting the Lizard Men. I saw that before I read this comic and I have to agree with the creators of the TV show for wanting a Lizard Men fight. I don't know, maybe Star Trek "Arena" had come out and they liked the Lizard Man in that episode.
As a kid in the 80’s, I cut the Reed Spotlight page from a reprint and put it on my wall. Marvel didn’t sell many Fantastic Four posters then.
My sister and I both had copies of this classic

These are fun.
Reed does make sporadic attempts to cure Alicia’s blindness. That’s why the FF travel back to the time of Rama Tut only 3 issues later…

Ant-Man fought bravely against Doom's army but there were too many of them. Were there no ants in this world for him to command for some help?
Remember the super hero party sketch on SNL were they mad fun of ant man for being a some what lame hero?
