Never understood why the authorities haven't placed wave energy dispersal systems. The battering the new wall will get from a) wave power and b) shingle carried by the waves, I wonder if it will alst the designated period.
It's been there for 'long term x 10' or so already, so it seems that the £80m they've spent on new sea defences indicates that it's here to stay hopefully!
@@johnharmar-smith2262 Reopening the full inland route via Okehampton would be useful though. The single track to Oakehampton is a start but they need to go further.

This is Britain, where we only do something when it is already too late and even then we only allocate 1/10 of the necessary budget.
