Thanks Joey! Can’t believe it. You bought the receiver and speakers I wanted get for a used 17’ flats boat I bought. Same issues, not a lot of room on the console. Huge help! And thanks for all the tips to test your wiring.
I just put the same one in my boat for some reason and fogs up to where you can't read it Bose is sending me a new system they say but it sounds really good
I received mine today, i ordered the square unit which has the weather on it as well, but my question is i saw you connect the yellow and red together , please explain why? I will install mine today!
one is usually a remote wire and one is positive. the positive is straight from the battery and the remote would be when you turn your key on like in a car. its not a car so that's why you would jumper or splice them together
Yeah Im just installing mine today. NO power though as I did not hook up the red wire. Im will try connecting the red yellow wires tomorrow and see what happens. I am also connected to the battery with an inline fuse holder and a battery disconnect switch as per the wiring instructions. Have a 15 amp fuse, will have to pick up some 20amp fuses. Wish me luck...lol
guys let me save you a huge hassle. Get a bluetooth speaker. DONE no holes no wires no fuses no drain on battery.. LMFAO I got one that floats waterproof and jams LOUD what a hassle
ALi do you have a inboard out board motor ?? you are probably are getting inanition spark leakage .. this use to happen a lot with older cars .. try using some insulator on your wires .. you could be even getting leakage from other wires as well ..

It's the knock off Mexican bizzy bone, when I wanted to see about this marine radio
I wouldnt upsize the fuse my man, they are designed that way.... stronger isnt always better. You shorted it most likely and popped the fuse.
5 amp main
1 amp accessories
Great video! Were the speakers loud? Especially just two of them... is that enough for a small boat?

Don’t run your power wire next to your rca’s that’s where you will get engine noise the rca’s will pick up signal and power Gaines from power wire
