One thing that I feel like other may appreciate about this transfer is the quickness of it. It was only last week where we put a bid in out of nowhere and it was accepted. A week later, we were surprised to hear that we was negotiating with Yoro on personal terms and then suddenly we had a medical booked the very next day. The quickness and the shock factor made this an even better signing In my opinion.
I look back to the signings of Sancho and co who transfer sagas were so drawn out that by the end of it, we weren’t as excited as we were when we were first linked.

I'm happy to finally get a CB through the door and by all accounts Yoro has alot of potential. I'm also happy with the wages but i need to see the fee as 55M would be a little too much in my eyes. If we get de Ligt and a proper CDM we can go into the new season with a little confidence. I'm not going to scream we are back yet as lets be honest we bid twice as more as Real so not sure why this is that much different to other deals where we just use the cheque book. Regarding figures I’d go with Romano’s numbers 50M euros base price which at current rates is about £42.7m and with 12M euros in add ons or about £10.2M ie a possible max of around £53M

Journos make up transfer fees out of thin air. In the normal wolrd when a company is sold, its one quoted fee with no discrepancies. In football there are multiple numbers quoted which means its made up by journalists unless the club releases the info.
