I think you're right about being sure about the club you are supporting, but you also have to have some kind of good relationship with that club. When you wear the support merch, you have to carry yourself proper. You have to know that you're not part of the club so don't get the tough guy syndrome wearing it. Knowing where to be when you are wearing it is a big part too! I am a Black and White Supporter, and just moved into an Area that is dominated by Red and Gold, and I have been hit up asking who I am and I haven't worn any BW support shirts. They approached me mostly because of the way I dress and they associated that with Black and White. I just stay in my lane and do my thing, I don't kick it with anyone.... Back home Black and White has ALWAYS treated us good, and thats why we are loyal to them, but also know that they are not obligated to defend us for any reason. This is good stuff for people to know especially if they are naive to the club scene.
I'm a supporter of the culture. I like going to MC events and partying with like minded people. I don't wear the support shirts but I definitely support the bar wherever I go. Cheers my man 🙌🏽💪🏽
I was a true supporter of my local mc. After almost 2 years they made me an official hangaround. Recently the SA asked me if I was interested in prospecting. True supporters who are liked by the club will be given opportunities. Ppl who buy gear off the internet but never get involved are not supporters.
I wore my support shirt here in PDX I got from Mooch and none of the biker clubs ever said anything to me. I got some looks in Costco after I got out the gym but that’s it.
A lot of this is True! The Supporters or Hangarounds are ALWAYS out to make a "Name" for themselves to earn their Bones. Keep tabs on your Supporters too, always. They can be Informants too or linked to LEO'S, etc.
Clubs have an obligation too, if a certain organisation sells support wear on ebay knowing the buyer could get bashed for wearing it then they are putting people's lives in danger for profits, and when the civilian that is wearing that support shirt acts like a tough guy, thinking he's representing, that club will be pissed when he brings heat on them.
Craziest thing I saw years ago some young KID walked into a bar looked like a surfer shirts, flip flops wear just a plain solid color shirt. Out of nowhere about 10 guys were on him talking to him about his shirt color and actually made him and his friends leave the bar. SMH ridiculous..
Again the best podcast 💪🏻 will you make episode and talk more about LTR ? What are your plans with it ? I have a question: let’s say there’s a club in your area that admire but you’ve never met them or been to a local event can you still wear support gear or should you meet the club or go to an event first?
You can as most of the support shirts are available online but make sure you at least know who else is in the area. I’d assume there are a good amount of people that wear support stuff for the bigger clubs that don’t know any of them

@@mikeggg1979 I agree with you partially. You shouldn't wear various support gear for different families. But..... If you are wearing support gear for various clubs within the same family, that is different. For instance if you wanted to wear various Simon Says support gear for Simon Says clubs or Red & Gold family gear for various clubs within the same family that makes sense. Within the same family they are Brother clubs, so in that situation you could wear multiple clubs gear.

What's the difference between a supporter in a hangground.
Typically, a hangaround is working towards joining the club and a supporter is just a friend or someone that simply supports
