- Gravity falls making a comeback this year was a WELCOME suprise- yall have no idea how much i love this show. i also think the characters in this show have some of the best animated character designs out there- they look iconic and are so easily recognizable, while still fitting with that 90s vibe and showing their personalities. Ughhh i love this show!!!
I wanted to draw them in my style as well as show a lil bit about how I animate idle animations, so I recorded my animation process with mabel! had some issues with the recorder while trying to capture dipper- also, some of the audio got fked up in the editor, so apologies for that- otherwise I hope you enjoy!
I love how they look in your art style. Gives off the underlying creepy vibe that Gravity Falls has always given me. (I also drew something gravity falls related today too lol)

I love the use of different undertones for the twins, I think it really shows that, although they look alike, and they are, they also have their key differences. Also, Mabel looks like I’d see her at night and cross the road, smth abt those eyes… amazing art as always!

Something i noticed is that mabel’s colors seem to be brighter and more like her. Carefree, cheerful, bubbly unlike dipper’s color scheme which seems more fit with dipper self-aware type personality, just goes to show how much detail you put in your art work!
