I don't often see folks leaning into this more dreamy style of photography with the Ricoh, but knowing it's versatile enough to do this AND the high-contrast street style I'm used to seeing definitely pushed me over the line. Sometimes when I take a photo with the gr iii, the sky in the background looks blown out and overexposed, especially for cloudy days. Do you know how to prevent that?
You’ll notice I had the same issue in some of my photos. It really comes down to your metering mode and your exposure compensation settings. You could try using the spot metering, setting the spot to the sky, and then expose that way.
@@Willopo100 in that case, the Fuji X100 series might be better for you. I did take some sample footage with the Ricoh GRIII on this trip. I haven’t edited it, yet, but I am not expecting too much.
