- We're moving to Alaska! This military Alaska PCS moving from California to Anchorage, Alaska! As a family of 6, we're so excited! My husband is from Hawaii. We live in Northern Illinois and he loves the seasons and the fact is it cold here part of the year. It kills or forces the bugs into hibernation so we don’t see them months of the year. It seems like everywhere you have been was warm. It might be a nice change to have real seasons.

Hopefully you are all moved now!! We bought a 21 foot Coleman travel trailer a few months ago. Just the hubby & I as we are in a different phase of life (kids are pretty much grown), but having so much fun with it! Your family will love it!

Wow. Huge change of scenery. My husbands been wanting to take a trip to Alaska as we’ve looked into a cruise that is a 9-10 day cruise of different places . We go camping but we have a camper that we sleep in .

Don’t be terrified ! We are about to move away have been here 3 years. Get out during the winter months don’t isolate. If you can plan a trip in the middle of winter it helps and definitely take vitamin d and get a happy light! Summer is glorious! There are crazy mosquitoes and sometimes fires but it’s the most beautiful summer you’ll ever see.

I am a nurse and have worked twelve hour day and night shifts for ten years. This affects the family as well as physical and mental health. Now I'm finally on morning shifts and it's much better. I look forward to your new videos. You will beat the cold in Alaska, you are a strong woman 💪😉❤️. As soon as you come, Alaska will get another sun 🤗. Greetings to you and your family 🙂
I grew up in a Navy family. Navy Chiefs go through an initiation as well. But I remember the constant moving. Then I married an army guy ( moved mostly Georgia, Italy, then Colorado), we did divorce but it is what it is. But the moving sucks. Layers help a lot with cold ( having lived in Chicago and Colorado). May want to invest in space heaters ( a fireplace heater works to and adds to a cozy environment). But best wishes to y’all and thanks to you and your husband for your service ( as a nurse and service member).

Omg, I was waiting for this!🥰 Hi! I was a nanny for a Coast guard military family. The dad was sent to assist during hurricane Katrina. It was sad. He walked out the door and asked me to "hold the fort down" he came back with PTSD 😔❤️

@@karlassweetlife My husband enlisted in the reserves right after high school graduation. He did his training in Yorktown ,Virginia before we were married. Then transferred to a base in Cape May , New Jersey to fulfill his service . We currently live in Pennsylvania.
