We’re moving from Anchorage back to West Virginia this summer and I’ve been so anxious about the border crossing 😅I keep finding videos to see other’s experiences.
I see you didn't follow the Google maps route and instead drove through me home state of Montana! I spent part of my childhood in Great Falls and leved there for a few months a couple years ago. That is so weird how you had trouble with gas stations! I've never heard of anyone having trouble getting gas like that! Maybe you use Amex??? 😂😂😂
Is your hubby Military?? All the locations that you’re driving from are military bases. I know Sedgwick Kansas we were stationed there Biloxi were stationed there and Anchorage We were stationed there as well. 😍
Love seeing your Alaska travels brings back so many memories driving and stopping at the same places but we drove in the summer, so it was really cool seeing it all covered in snow on your videos
We actually enjoyed it! Summer was kind of miserable lol. But we went to Pensacola and NOLA a lot which was very fun! We lived off base up in d’iberville and really liked the area. I didn’t prefer the area near base
Hey! That’s actually where we moved to. I’m very glad we didn’t drive anything besides our car. I feel like it would be a huge hassle. I know people have done it but having the mil move us was great for this PCS!

You should be totally fine! Both borders went smoothly haha

It’s a great drive! We have 2 Alcan videos that we’ll be posting with lots of info :)
Thank you for visiting Canada, hope you had fun. As a home sick Canadian living abroad thanks. Come back.
We definitely will :) we’d love to go skiing at Whistler! Hopefully you get to visit home soon

Nice vlog. Enjoyed the road trip 👍
Thank you! Lots more to come :)
Sweetgrass border crossing on I-15... the only border crossing I've ever had a really traumatic experience at! 😂

Where in Kansas are yall from? We just moved to a village in western AK from the wichita area
Wichita as well!
Seat belts?
definitely on! I have to put mine under my arm and across otherwise it would decapitate me in an accident :) i’m a little short lol
I’m going to drive to Fairbanks, what do I need to show the Canadian border?
We just used passports! That’s all they asked for
Did you have to be vaccinated
No, they’re not checking for that now!
So did not show the actual encounter with the border crossing????!!! Ughhh
Cameras are not allowed! We had a good experience, they asked their questions, we gave them our passports and we were on our way
