    Excellent review! The Swiss gear 1900 regardless what you do for a living is a reliable essential EDC to have! I’m getting my fifth one tomorrow. I absolutely love this backpack and durable stylish. It comes in a bunch of living colors is able to use the pockets to advantage. What I mean you can put your credentials or things you need right away to the point of a backpack that it’s easily accessible Now I said it before I had five of them before. three of them I gave away to family members one as a Christmas, gift other to my friend and her husband for their honeymoon, and they absolutely love them.

    finally!!! it was pissing me off that all the reviewers were saying "breeze through airports"...that just tells me they dont travel... even if ure using a sleeve they will make u take it out let alone a back compartment. good review

      It depends, I have had good luck at all US airports as it is TSA approved. Same with High Sierra TSA backpack. In Europe and Asia you are forced to take the laptop out

    @ 3:09 - it's a stretchable what? I seriously cannot figure out what some of these features are for (and I've had the bag for 2 years).

    Hi I just bought this with the prospect of carrying it on an airplane as an extra handbag, is it small enough to pass as one or would it be too big?

    • @revieweverything9828
      @revieweverything9828  6 років тому +1

      Yes, its tough to get under a seat though.

      I've been using this backpack for over a year now. I fly 2-3 times a month and have never had an issue with getting it onto a flight, even with small commuter planes. As I'm typically gone for 3-5 days at a time, I rely on it a lot and can put a lot of things in it and still fit it under the seat. If you don't stuff it to maximum capacity, you'll be fine.

      I've had the bag for 2 years and I can't figure out those grey straps, the little one on the right strap that sits lower, or the straps on the front. I feel like the bag needed to come with an instructional video (but I still love it).

      I think it the "suspension system"? The straps are supposed to have an inbuilt suspension system and the logo does look like something that goes up and down.

    can you lock the zipper where the laptop goes? what are the loops at the top.of the bag used for on the shoulders straps and what are the circular rings at the end of the should straps for?

    • @revieweverything9828
      @revieweverything9828  7 років тому +1

      No, you can't lock.
      Probably for short term grip while carrying heavy luggage.
      To adjust length of shoulder straps.

      You can, actually. Just lock the 3 last zippers between and then it will be locked.

    One thing to watch for.. when you slide your hand into the deep side pockets there's a ridge in there that I almost always catch my fingernail on. One of these days I fear that it will tear off or bust my nail. Be careful.. :)

    What are the startups on the lower front pocket for?

  • @stevegustafson9414

    Would have bought if there had simply been a latchable chest strap, since I ride a motorcycle. Swiss Gear fail.
