The standout on Nuo to me is the wonderful fit and light-weight. Sound is good and I don't have any issues with upper frequencies (maybe my age being near 60)
I also found that there is an occasional harshness in the uppers in the « s ». I have put a filter on it and it fixed it. I do like the Nuo but it don’t reinvent anything but I keep going for it for now especially when I am on the go.
This is a good example of hearing being completely subjective. To my ears, the Nuo are far superior to every example shown. But I'm just a regular guy, who's owned them
The opinions in this Hobbie are plentiful. I'm curious.....you own all the others? You compared them in real time.....or was the comparison done on the basis of memory
@benmacdhui I am with u in this: audio is so subjective, but I think that nuo is superior to every under 30 bucks iem I have ever heard. Only drawback is that slight softness from the LCP driver, which is actually very good in other aspects... And not only audio is subjective, but there are many Qc issues and unit variants nowdays...
@@akros9333 yeah that Asian market started something good (good competition, and products), but at the same time those companies obviously cant handle QC like EU brands (honourable exceptions/in both directions).
Also, my Zigaat Cinno came today (2 weeks after nuo, so satisfied by it so far game changer, when u target a good synergy by cable and tips) bought it for 50 bucks but those sales are long gone sadly (but can come in the future). Surprising amount of detail, clarity and cleanliness considering that full tuning ... they can fool u first but they are very detailed in fact, they reminds me my belowed p1max (with less treble or pinagain I should say), they are sharper there mainly because of that 2 peaks ...
Polaris tuning stands out (based on my ears), very good, but they dont stand out in therms of technicalities (sufficient for the price). Also in the stock format they are triggering high output of my LG g7 so they are indeed over 50 ohms (atleast some dongle)...
I think the Cinno is a great IEM for a warm neutral tuning. It takes over the Hexa in that bracket imo. Also, those green stem tips are awesome. I tried them for the first time when I got in the Hisenior T4, awesome stock tips!
Interesting you found the Nuo shouty, I'm sensitive to shout (boosted pinna gain) too and don't find that the case, which could possibly be unit variance. Being how prefer the Hola, you might not like the Cinno as it's even leaner. The Tangzu FuDu might be right up your alley though-it reminded me of a direct upgrade/improved Hola
@@benmacdhui I already have the Cinno and love it..! Nice low pinna enough “character “ in the mid-bass and lower mids to things interesting and engaging. I highly rec.

Hey Tony! First of all, thank you for your review. Always a pleasure to listen to your descriptions and comparisons. Would you mind telling me the name of two cables from this video and maybe point me to where I can get them? I'd be interested in the one on the bottom left and the second one from the right in the bottom row. Thank you for your time. Greetings from Germany!

When I hear hot pinagain and lower treble, the TRN t tips are usually all I need to tame it down (it depends on how much boosted it is of course).

Please review the 1+4 Ziigaat Cinno! It has an interesting tuning.
That's the next one on the pipeline
How is Nuo compared to kiwi cadenza in term of tonal and tech?
I use kz dfi with switch like 6 month and i think i will buy nuo, is it better than dfi with switch?
