Did you know that everyone can sing? It's just that some people think they sound ugly so they don't practice it with a mindset "I sound good I should sing loud and clear" It's the same with accents.. Own your imperfections.. in the end you should be proud to have an accent.. proud of your actual origin :)
Embrace your accent as long as foreigners can understand you. There are much more important things to pay attention to while learning languages. I've been learning English and German for years and still have strong accent and make mistakes. But who cares. If you are an ultimate perfectionist and it tortures you, you can try different apps, Russian songs with subtitles, fary tales, poems, etc. Don't give up and good luck!
It is basically impossible to fully get rid of an accent if you are not raised with the language. I knew someone who I thought was native at first because he didn't seem to have any accent, but with certain sounds and new words the accent came out a little. Even with an accent most people would be impressed and excited, because it is rare to find someone who learns Russian outside the countries it is widely spoken
My great grandmother and great grandfather came from Ukraine to Canada when they were young. I would love to come to their native region one day💕 but until then your videos are so incredibly cute and fun to watch! Take care Taya🤗
Movies actors just mimic the sounds, they are not really speaking the language. I do speak a couple of other languages, but when the actor talking in my language, I have no ideas what they are saying. I know your feelings.

Hello from France! Interesting video as moreover Anglophone have a tough accent to quit, it sticks very often to their mouth when they want to speak another language. I'm learning Ukrainian and Polish as Slavic languages, the difficulty to me sometimes, can be the number of consonants in one word ^^
@@TayaUkraine Well in fact some words in Ukrainian are polonised so it can be a guess or an help to find the word in Polish but mostly the form of Polish words are typical and different from Ukrainian. Even if Ukrainian is not so so close from Russian, for sure, the Eastern Slavic aspect is first and obvious (for a long time I couldn't make the difference between Ukrainian and Russian, now I can), so to my ears Ukrainian and Polish seem rather different to me. If I can sometimes mix words in Polish and Ukrainian, this is more because I know the word in Ukrainian and I say it by purpose in a Polish sentence... because I want to finish the sentence ^^.
I speak both Russian and English language fluently with no accent…. Since I was born in America though and went to American schools, I was only taught about English and I learned Russian from my Mom. I still feel like English is a lot easier for me because I’m able to get all my thoughts out but with Russian, I just lack so much vocabulary. Like whenever I hear the Russian news playing, I can’t understand a thing because pretty much the entire clip he’s using smart vocabulary that I’ve never heard of in my life. I only know how to speak basic home Russian. I feel that because I’m entirely from Russian decent, I want to study my language extensively because every time I speak it I feel uncomfortable and like I’m not fluent enough… I can say the words perfectly but sometimes I might have a hard time getting my thoughts out the right way as like I said, I Lack vocabulary and sometimes I even mispronounce a bit.. Hopefully now that I live in the states, I can preserve my language through many generations.

I like watching native russian speakers review our American actors horrible russian. U would think in American films they word have could russian language coaches to be more authentic. I had a Russian friend teaching me russian. Me being a native spanish and English speaker I found it hard but fun. My dream is to learn russian. My friend showed me the Russian alphabet and pronunciation and I got totally lost. Nothing like English or Spanish!!! Lol
I can't mock, because I can imagine if I was an actress and I have to learn few phrases of the language I have never studied for the film, it would sound the same!

That's the thing, I didn't get it
I speak both Russian and English language fluently with no accent…. Since I was born in America though and went to American schools, I was only taught about English and I learned Russian from my Mom. I still feel like English is a lot easier for me because I’m able to get all my thoughts out but with Russian, I just lack so much vocabulary. Like whenever I hear the Russian news playing, I can’t understand a thing because pretty much the entire clip he’s using smart vocabulary that I’ve never heard of in my life. I only know how to speak basic home Russian. I feel that because I’m entirely from Russian decent, I want to study my language extensively because every time I speak it I feel uncomfortable and like I’m not fluent enough… I can say the words perfectly but sometimes I might have a hard time getting my thoughts out the right way as like I said, I Lack vocabulary and sometimes I even mispronounce a bit.. Hopefully now that I live in the states, I can preserve my language through many generations.
Ukrainian and Russian are the languages of Ukraine? Or is it just Ukrainian? Hmmm I've read that both orginated in Ukraine. It's good that you're continuing to share your culture with us and now I've been more motivated to learn. Hopefully I can learn the Ukrainian accent as well.

I like watching native russian speakers review our American actors horrible russian. U would think in American films they word have could russian language coaches to be more authentic.
I had a Russian friend teaching me russian. Me being a native spanish and English speaker I found it hard but fun. My dream is to learn russian. My friend showed me the Russian alphabet and pronunciation and I got totally lost. Nothing like English or Spanish!!! Lol
