I liked Fortnite because it was so original, that’s why chapter 1 and 2 will never be matched. But even in chapter 2 they began adding an overwhelming amount of collaborations that removed their originality. For example: the emotes in chapter 1 always had original music or unique recreations of actual songs. But now you hardly see that.

I couldn't agree more with this video. To put it simply, this is horrible. The live event absolutely sucked. No story behind it and frankly, I don't care for hip hop, and so I literally wasn't even really watching the live event, I just had it on, and checked back every once in a while to see if it was still going. Now, if it was a normal Fortnite concert, it probably would have been cooler, but it was just a broadcast of a real life concert that they streamed into Fortnite, like, how lame of a concert is that? Honestly, I was just as worried about this season as you, but I didn't know they were going to mess up this badly. The whole point of going back to a previous map is for nostalgia, not to promote more collabs and mess up an island people loved. I don't even mind that Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice are coming to the game, but it's the fact that they chose this season, when we go back to Chapter 2, to do this collab. If this was the theme of the first season of Chapter 6, that would be fine, but no, instead of simply letting us enjoy nostalgia for a month like last year, they had to be stupid enough to insert collabs into the game and completely change iconic Chapter 2 locations for this instead of just letting us enjoy the real Chapter 2 again. This cannot be more frustrating. Honestly, I am surprised at the divisiveness and discourse surrounding this. Honestly, why is there so much discourse? People are saying they are doing something creative with this, but can any of them explain to me how adding 4 real life artists into the game is at all creative? Collaborations are literally meant to be the least creative thing a game can do, because they didn't make it, it was already there, all they had to do is get the rights to do it and put it into the game. I cannot believe that this is not only music themed, but that this has actual artists in the game changing these locations so you can buy their skins or get the Festival Pass or play Festival. Like, what even is the point of adding this to what was supposed to be a nostalgia-filled season? If Epic cannot realize how stupid this is, and somehow mess up giving us nostalgia despite doing that better a year ago, then maybe it is time to leave Fortnite and let it die. Now don't get me wrong, I have stuck through Fortnite when literally none of my friends did, but I was just talking to my best friend about this yesterday, that Epic has become so entranced in their stupid metaverse and making Fortnite a hub for everything that they forgot what made the game so popular to begin with, which was just a simple, fun Battle Royale game, and with that and this Remix season showing how out of touch Epic is nowadays, I don't know if I will stay for Chapter 6. Don't get me wrong, I will play this Remix season because it is Chapter 2, but after that, I will be very weary of Fortnite and practically have one foot out the door during Chapter 6, because I have kind of had enough of Epic not realizing that they are ruining their game, and this was the last straw. If they wonder why people have stopped playing Fortnite as much, they just need to look at themselves and what they've done since Chapter 2 Seasons 5 and 6 and realize how different and better the game was during Chapter 1 and the first 4-5 seasons of Chapter 2, to where it is now. Not all seasons and chapters have been bad since then, and I have enjoyed a good bit of the seasons after those seasons, but there was a clear drop in quality, and like I said, them doing such a corporate and out of touch thing like this is the last straw for me. I dont really agree. I wont have a mental breakdown, but it is very sad to see fortnite do this. I played since day 1. And the start of chapter 2 was my favourite out of all seasons. And i was very excited to land at my favourite locations, because i have a lot of nostalgia from there. But then they ruined all of the best locations. They could have made a location like coral castle into a collab. Summorised: these are bot timy changed, but big ones that affect the best locations on the map. I am sorry for my bad English.

this video sums up my sadness and dissapointment of this season, for once in years i was excited about a new season to relive my prime and good memories. during the “event” if you can even call it that i was kinda confused about ice and snoop being there but i didn’t care all that much. then the trailer came out, after seeing the agency being a snoop dogg poi, all hope was lost. instead of giving them their own time in chapter 6, epic had to ruin something the entire community was so excited for, the skins themselves are fine but like the video said festival is its own mode why did it have to come into br when everyone just wanted to have classic chapter 2.

This season not having a story at all is very weird as that was a big part of what made fortnite interesting as well. heres how i'd make this season, snoop dog and ice spice would just be skins in the item shop, at best not a boss on the map just a npc you can talk to, i'd put his bundle with the tidy emote aswell and he wouldn't be ruling the agency. I'd change battle pass alot, i'd keep chaos director and all her styles, 1 ball would have a customizable colors and thats all the changes to him, skye wouldn't be 11 years old, i dont know why they made her look 11.. I'd make her emote faster cause its slow as hell, her guitar would be a item shop thing cause not much people really play festival. I'd get rid of the black hair on meowdas' head cause just why, i'd change him to be a lighter color cause he looks to human with his basic form, shadow midas is alright cause he doesn't look like a guy wearing a cat head and the guitar for meowdas would also be in the shop, instead of the "purr-demonium" emote i'd make a remixed paws & claws emote with a tad different moves to it, the win umbrella would be the same as it is BUT you can change it up like the old custom brella umbrella, the doggpound wouldn't be the doggpound it'd be the the agency just remade with a few easter eggs like a little photo on meowdas' desk of meowscles and midas, most of the locations would be remixed aswell so its not just chapter 2 season 2 but with the doggpound and i'd make the grass brighter, hire me epic.

Now that Remix is out. I am not saying that it is bad but it is not the real thing. The lore basically doesn't exist anymore. I hate the new movement, the UI, the locker, and the terrible shop layout. It is honestly one big ad and freakin ice spice is in there for some mf reason. Fortnite used to be way calmer and it wasn't this chaotic. It is losing it's personality. It is like that one insecure kid who was already appreciated by his friends but is trying to be someone else in a weird way. The battle passes were actually fun to grind and get all the extra styles back then but now they decrease the xp you get and are forcing you to level up 50 more levels. I had so many memories cranking up the graphics, playing some music and just chilling doing quests.

But even in chapter 2 they began adding an overwhelming amount of collaborations that removed their originality. For example: the emotes in chapter 1 always had original music or unique recreations of actual songs. But now you hardly see that.

I couldn't agree more with this video. To put it simply, this is horrible. The live event absolutely sucked. No story behind it and frankly, I don't care for hip hop, and so I literally wasn't even really watching the live event, I just had it on, and checked back every once in a while to see if it was still going. Now, if it was a normal Fortnite concert, it probably would have been cooler, but it was just a broadcast of a real life concert that they streamed into Fortnite, like, how lame of a concert is that? Honestly, I was just as worried about this season as you, but I didn't know they were going to mess up this badly. The whole point of going back to a previous map is for nostalgia, not to promote more collabs and mess up an island people loved. I don't even mind that Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice are coming to the game, but it's the fact that they chose this season, when we go back to Chapter 2, to do this collab. If this was the theme of the first season of Chapter 6, that would be fine, but no, instead of simply letting us enjoy nostalgia for a month like last year, they had to be stupid enough to insert collabs into the game and completely change iconic Chapter 2 locations for this instead of just letting us enjoy the real Chapter 2 again. This cannot be more frustrating. Honestly, I am surprised at the divisiveness and discourse surrounding this. Honestly, why is there so much discourse? People are saying they are doing something creative with this, but can any of them explain to me how adding 4 real life artists into the game is at all creative? Collaborations are literally meant to be the least creative thing a game can do, because they didn't make it, it was already there, all they had to do is get the rights to do it and put it into the game. I cannot believe that this is not only music themed, but that this has actual artists in the game changing these locations so you can buy their skins or get the Festival Pass or play Festival. Like, what even is the point of adding this to what was supposed to be a nostalgia-filled season? If Epic cannot realize how stupid this is, and somehow mess up giving us nostalgia despite doing that better a year ago, then maybe it is time to leave Fortnite and let it die. Now don't get me wrong, I have stuck through Fortnite when literally none of my friends did, but I was just talking to my best friend about this yesterday, that Epic has become so entranced in their stupid metaverse and making Fortnite a hub for everything that they forgot what made the game so popular to begin with, which was just a simple, fun Battle Royale game, and with that and this Remix season showing how out of touch Epic is nowadays, I don't know if I will stay for Chapter 6. Don't get me wrong, I will play this Remix season because it is Chapter 2, but after that, I will be very weary of Fortnite and practically have one foot out the door during Chapter 6, because I have kind of had enough of Epic not realizing that they are ruining their game, and this was the last straw. If they wonder why people have stopped playing Fortnite as much, they just need to look at themselves and what they've done since Chapter 2 Seasons 5 and 6 and realize how different and better the game was during Chapter 1 and the first 4-5 seasons of Chapter 2, to where it is now. I'd change battle pass alot, i'd keep chaos director and all her styles, 1 ball would have a customizable colors and thats all the changes to him, skye wouldn't be 11 years old, i dont know why they made her look 11.. I'd make her emote faster cause its slow as hell, her guitar would be a item shop thing cause not much people really play festival. I'd get rid of the black hair on meowdas' head cause just why, i'd change him to be a lighter color cause he looks to human with his basic form, shadow midas is alright cause he doesn't look like a guy wearing a cat head and the guitar for meowdas would also be in the shop, instead of the "purr-demonium" emote i'd make a remixed paws & claws emote with a tad different moves to it, the win umbrella would be the same as it is BUT you can change it up like the old custom brella umbrella, the doggpound wouldn't be the doggpound it'd be the the agency just remade with a few easter eggs like a little photo on meowdas' desk of meowscles and midas, most of the locations would be remixed aswell so its not just chapter 2 season 2 but with the doggpound and i'd make the grass brighter, hire me epic.

Honestly I don’t really care for the Storyline that much I’m just here for the fun vibes plus I thought the celebrities taking over the storyline was hilarious that Balloon on the shark is an awesome reimagining of that location I felt in its defense and I’m glad you posted this video because you are showing me that you are one of the prime examples of people complaining over nothing without even giving it a chance just straight up ready to verbally attack with no hesitation simply because it’s reinventing something and making it new again but your just gonna talk smack simply for the crystal clear fact that it doesn’t line up with your expectations of how chapter 2 should traditionally be well news flash this remake is actually a reinvention and we simply have to adapt to this reimagining instead of complaining for basically no real reason except for the soul purpose of starting drama with players who actually like this season and are willing to give it a chance now could the event have been better yes of course but I feel as though what we got was genuinely good now I know that Chapter 5 was mostly a train wreck but even so by some miracle I was somehow able to still find enjoyment even in one of the worst chapters because I figured out how to make the entertainment in these seasons work for me why can’t you now I understand the shoe cosmetics are a huge waste of money but a month from now I’ll admit it I’m still gonna be buying them look I understand your upset but the main take away is that you should probably try to make this season fun for yourself and hopefully spread that enjoyment to others because I also understand that posting videos like THIS or other hateful post prematurely is probably not the best approach to a reimagined season you haven’t even played yet all it does is further divide us and it just contributes to the problems of the modern age which is a lack of basic understanding and acceptance again I understand this season could potentially flop but I’m just here again for the fun vibes whether the season succeeds or not it shouldn’t take away from what I’m saying right now Now I don’t meant to tell you that you shouldn’t voice your concerns or anything about this season but maybe just don’t be so prematurely reckless about it like most of the seemingly toxic communitys often do when there faced with something new that they don’t understand but hopefully they learn to work towards an understanding and respect the difference’s of positive change sorry I didn’t mean to get very deep about this subject but I just felt as though I had to point that out have a nice day ✌️

Now that Remix is out. I am not saying that it is bad but it is not the real thing. The lore basically doesn't exist anymore. I hate the new movement, the UI, the locker, and the terrible shop layout.
It is honestly one big ad and freakin ice spice is in there for some mf reason.
Fortnite used to be way calmer and it wasn't this chaotic. It is losing it's personality. It is like that one insecure kid who was already appreciated by his friends but is trying to be someone else in a weird way.
The battle passes were actually fun to grind and get all the extra styles back then but now they decrease the xp you get and are forcing you to level up 50 more levels. I had so many memories cranking up the graphics, playing some music and just chilling doing quests.

For one there were a lot more mobility items to get you accross the map. I was basically a Choppa pilot the entirety of Chapter 2. They are NOWHERE near the same.
