உங்கள் ஹவுஸ் ஃபுல் திரைப்படம் வெகு நன்றாக இருந்தது. புதிய பாதையை விடவும் சிறந்த படம். ஆனால் புதிய பாதை என்ற கமர்ஷியல் ஹிட் தான் பார்த்திபனின் அடையாளம். இரவின் நிழல் பேட்டியில் ரசிகர்கள் தியேட்டரில் குவிய வேண்டும் என்று கேட்கிறீர்கள். புதிய பாதைக்கு நீங்கள் கேட்காமலேயே ரசிகர்கள் குவிந்தார்கள். மீண்டும் அப்படி ஒரு மேஜிக் இன்னும் உங்களுக்கு கைகூடவில்லை. இத்தனை க்கும் அதைவிட தரமான பல படங்களை நீங்கள் தந்து விட்டீர்கள். ஆனால் புதிய பாதையை மிஞ்சிய வெற்றி உங்களுக்கு இன்னும் கைகூடவில்லை. பேட்டி கொடுக்கும் போதே உங்களுக்கு சளித் தொந்தரவு இருப்பது எனக்கு தெரிந்து கவலையுற்றேன். உங்களைப் போன்ற நல்ல கலைஞர்கள் நல்ல ஆரோக்கியமாக இருந்தால் திரைப்படத் துறை க்கு நல்லது. உங்களைப் போன்றவர்கள் பணக்காரர்களாக இருந்தால் நல்ல பல திரைப்படங்கள் வரும். ஆனால் நல்ல படங்கள் எடுப்பவர்கள் இயக்குனர் மகேந்திரன் போல பணத்திற்காக ரொம்ப கஷ்டப்பட்டு ஆரோக்கியம் இழந்து இறுதியில் கவனிக்க ஆள் இன்றி இறந்து போவார்கள். எம். ஜி. ஆர். ரஜினி போல கமர்ஷியல் ஹிட் கொடுத்து முதலில் பணம் பண்ணவும் புகழ் செய்ய வும் முயற்சி செய்து பின்னர் நல்ல படங்கள் எடுங்கள். நூறு படங்களில் நடித்து சம்பாதித்த வற்றை இழக்க ஒரு நல்ல படத்தை இயக்கி தயாரித்தால் போதும். நீங்கள் சொன்ன ஆத்ம திருப்தி ஒரு நாள் உங்களை அழிக்கும். இறந்த பிறகு பாரதியை கொண்டாடுவதைப்போல் கொண்டாடுவார்கள். நல்ல கலைஞர்களுக்கு காலம் கடந்து பாராட்டுகள் கிடைக்கும். ஆனால் வாழும் போது பணத்திற்காக பிச்சை காரனை விட கேவலமாக வாழவேண்டும்.
இரண்டு விஷயம் தான் மிக முக்கியம். கடனற்ற எளிமையான செல்வம் மற்றும் நல்ல ஆரோக்கியம்.

Dudeeee... Parthiban is indeed a talented and perhaps valuable asset to Tamizh Cinema, but he has understand that hard and unattempted form of a work do not make it an excellent art... Serving bland hot water in a golden glass with diamond adornment doesn't make the water taste better than it actually is... But we are all hoping that Iravin Nizhal is not gonna be a just a water served in a fancy glass...
It is kinda sad that this probably has never crossed his mind even after 32 odd years.
Depends on how you define excellent when it comes to an art form and also which of his works you perceive as bland water. Even a masterpiece by Andy Warhol may not appeal to everyone but that doesn’t mean it isn’t excellent. That being said, he does have very high expectations of commercial success for this film and let’s see if that happens.

Great respect to you parthiban sir. Kindly don't compare yourself with sivaji sir Or kamal sir. They have their own identity. They opened the gates for many aspiring filmmakers actors. Even bharathiraja sir.
Actually what he tried to explain that they are the pioneers of Tamil Cinema as they tried almost everything in their time and Kamal is still trying new things now but what R P tried in this movie is completely different from them !! and he clearly knows that no one in this industry can match those two legends in anyway!!

It's all about thought process. 2013 there is a movie called LOCKE - TOM HARDY. phone calls during one ride . No one else around. So, it's all about learning and evolving. The way he said is unacceptable. Discovery is not equal to invention sir.
