My heart goes out to Hawaii, Hawaiian's, and all those who made my experiences as a child in Hawaii. These vacations truly cemented my relationships with my family because so many have never had such experiences. I am so grateful to be able to experience them on youtube since I have never been able to afford them in adulthood. My goal is to get back there and experience it all over again if I ever get the chance. I will be back, in ashes at the very least. I love this place!
Once you've enjoyed a place like that for a while. You never want to leave. I was just a kid. I think I cried on the plane when I had to go back home to Chicago. Long long ago.
Thank you so much for making this video. This is a walk I know very well and have done it many times when staying in Kaanapali and walking from Dukes restaurant to Whalers Village via the Eldorado complex and Black Rock. We are back there next month so this was a welcome refresher. Colin from Canada.
Another one from Kentucky that loves that beach and that walk. Since 2017 I fell in love with Maui and have been six times since. We are hoping to go in January for a month if the hold is lifted. Fingers crossed.
This is our running path each morning during our yearly visit to Maui. I just might have to play this during my runs on the treadmill here ar home. Our run is opposite though. We start at the Whaler, go north and our turn around point is in the parking lot just past Dukes. We just doe 3 to 4 miles so we walk the last little chunk. P.S. I do carry cat treats in my running belt. LOL!
I looked up DGI Osmo. Did you hand carry it, or was it in one of those neck harness things? Also, did you add in the sound later? Because I don't hear any talking. Thanks in advance! 😊
As an outsider , the first thing I notice is how clean and tidy and litter free the place is . People who visit care and show respect .Here in England ,people talk the talk of respect ,but don't know the meaning of the word ,and never will . [and it is getting worse].
Yes, if you want to be close to Black Rock. However, not an issue. You can park in their lot or do valet (although expensive).....or....you can enter from Whaler's Village shopping center. However, you'll have to pay parking there too.
Yeah, my GPS took me to Whalers village last time, so we didn't stop. Well be back in a few months tho, so now I know, thanks One final question: I saw a guy on a bike. Is there a place to rent them?
I did a quick search and West Maui Cycles rents bikes. I've never rented from them, but they seem reasonable. I have a Specialized Roubaix Comp at home and they rent similar bikes which would be great if you are a road bike rider. However, they have hybrids too which look good. Now you put the bug in my ear!
Any reason you stopped making or posting videos you definitely have an audience that appreciates your content. Thanks for sharing

I walked a part of this. We went to the Starbucks right off the beach :)
Just beautiful...average cost for a low Budget vacation for 2 weeks.. 😆

Thanks for sharing... I miss Maui and the walk along the path in Kaanapali. Is the audio from the internal microphone?
😍
Do you add the wave sounds later? Because I see people passing you chatting, but we never hear what they are saying...
Super video! very good, congratulations!

Once you leave these fancy beach areas, you start seeing trash left from the homeless.
Where does this begin? Sweet Direction helps :) Bike Riding allowed?
Sorry for the late reply. No, you can't ride a bike on the path. It begins in front of the Andaz and ends in front of the Fairmont.
Where did all the hammocks go??
Does anyone else shout at the screen, “One side, lady!” ?
I live in Hawaii 😘
So does my son but so what, lol, does help me with a place to stay when I visit maui
Do you have to walk through a hotel property to get to the kaanapali beach?
