I love how everyone here played this game when we were like 5-10 years old. This was the hardest thing back then
Yeah this game was BRUTAL in some levels, I will never believe that someone has beaten this game in their childhood
In PC the platforming is easy but some places I got stuck when playing the first time. After beating the game a couple more times it's easy for me
Didn't even manage to finish this game when I was 9 LoL. Perhaps I only got to 3/4 of the game and it's game over.
I rented this from blockbuster as a child, only to turn off the game and never play again after the spiders coming from ground in the desert. Came back to see what’s on the other side

I was born in 1999 , meaning I'm 21 now , and my dad was a fan of playstation, and I somehow remember to this day the nostalgia of this game , the milk/juice cartoons , jumping on those roofs and the doors and windows, I'm shocked as I was about 3-5 years old sitting next to my dad playing this , even Tekken 3 , or SPIDERMAN.
This is video games in its PRIME , bc in my opinion, the shoddy graphics and basic mechanics and the fact there's NO COMPETITION apart from yourself makes it so much more enjoyable and satisfying.
Video games were ruined by multiplayer as soon as the Internet was around for abit.
This is bc it no longer was about peaceful exploration , but taking years to make a game like gta v , too much focusing on the graphics and you can't help but get yourself well... angry at these disrespectful 9 year olds who absolutely make it their duty to grief/ cause you to rage bc they play all day bc they are unemployed and then continue to sit there and have the audacity to say "GET BETTER NOOOOOB"
Long story short , games companies are focusing too much on things that don't matter in my opinion as this shows us that you don't need good graphics, to have a good game, look at gra san adreas , banjo kazooi, CONKERS BAD FUF DAY

Same here. Was born in late 1999. Started to play this game when I was around 5-6 years old. Couldn't complete the ice slide. And only when I gave it a second try at around 9-10 years old I finally realised, that I only needed to hold and press down to slide a bit slower. I got thought this only to realise that what comes next is even more of a nightmare to complete compared to slide 😅Even though this time I finished the game.

As an adult I love the fact that those final levels leading up to nasira had prince ali's theme from the movie slipped into the level's themes! You can definitely hear it at 3:32:37

the pyramid and ancient city levels horrified me as a child, it took me months to beat pyramids, and i remember crying when kali changed from statue to attack you xD, i almost died from a heart attack

I would do just about anything to see this game remastered with updated graphics! Nonetheless, it's still one of my all time favorite games to play. I never tire of it. That's one of the reasons I'd be so eager to see a remaster! I doubt it will ever happen, sadly. 😔😔😔 But, a guy can dream I guess! It would make me sooooo happy to play a remake of this game.
I love it but i dont think it's as good for remaster. It needs remake, remaking levels, bosses because it doesnt suit PS4/PS5
i want to thank u from the bottom of my heart for solving my 18 years mystery.....i was 12 yo......used to play this game at a game parlor on hourly basis...and was stuck at some place where aladdin had to do some "serious monkeying"....checked in internet.... it was oasis 2 stage and finally saw today what i had to do.....i never thought any one will upload this ps1 game play....phew ...i can die peacefully now :P

man me too .. that was brutal , we were stuck there for months .. but suddenly we found a glitch in game that completely bypass that stage ..we completed the gam but came back to clear that stage again to have a closure

I was locked on that levels and I never finished them. Seriously, after the oasi the stages was the worst things of the world.
You can skip pyramid 3 level (the water slide) by doing the first pyramid level twice (don't forget to take the book the first time), then save and quit to the menu and load your game. Pyramid 4 will be unlocked, and you can skip pyramid 4 end laser part by just jumping and slamming on the door.

With no history with this game, I can't exactly say it looks awesome, but considering licensed games of this era, it's most certainly more ambitious than I'd expect, what with actually utilizing voice acting instead of just text boxes, everybody sans Williams reprising, and even having an actual Disney talent like Jodie Benson playing an original character. That's all pretty cool.
10 seconds of skimming through this pretty much has me weeding out 3d disney platformers from my iso collection

Ice slide and water slide are hardest part of this game, not because it's good or anything, but because of the bad level design. Still a fun game and I have finished it multiple times.
Ice sliding level was so hard that i almost gave up and then when i was playing it i found some ,,shortcuts" back in my day it was my big success
20 years later, I'm here to find out what's after the ice sliding level 🤣

Check to see which versions of Windows it runs on. The same goes with the Apple Mac.
I really do wish this game would get a remaster/remake. Though I'm doubtful it will ever happen. I love this game!
With better graphics, new abilities (like grabbing platform edges) and maybe new levels and conversations. For example, they'd better showcase relationships demonstrated in the movies and series (like Iago's interactions with Jas and Abu).

Severely underrated
I played this on some demo disc when I was a kid, when we first got our PS2. Needless to say, I played the demos quite a bit despite none of them being very substantial. There was so little to the demos _and_ it's been such a long time since I've seen any of those games that, like this one here, they feel like fever dreams. Like, "Did... Did I really play this?" Any further back and I don't think I'd have the brain capacity to remember it. I don't even think I liked the demo for this game either, but it's going to exist somewhere in my subconscious for the rest of my life.

I bought a ps1 just to complete this game because I couldn't as a kid. I finally have. I've played video games throughout my life on different consoles and this is one of the most frustrating games I've played. For example, It gave me one chance to do the ice slide and water slide part. Which is near impossible to do on the first attempt. To have another attempt you have to repeat the 20 mins of gameplay that got you to that part. Some levels were straight up creepy and some levels were too hard to do without a walkthrough.
This game is almost 22 years old... the days are long but the decades are short...
This game needs to be remastered.

The sliding level in the caves of wonder was a pain in the ass! God I love this game. Still play this game once in a while and still can't finish it till this day because of that damned sliding level 🤣
I remember this game playing in the past so much memories I wish they made a remake or just a remaster version of aladdin in nasiras revenge on nintendo switch or the playstation 5
If only the difficulty was balanced enough, this would’ve been a worthy addition to this franchise. But alas, Nasira ended up being like the villain Sin Tzu from that Batman game: a villainess who unfortunately had her potential wasted on a game that was less than desirable. It didn’t help that she wasn’t actually defeated, nor was she the final boss.
Nice to go down to memory lane and I wonder if they are going to do a remake of this game... Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Medievil have been remade... would be interesting to see this game with modern graphics.

I grew up watching the Aladdin cartoons had all 3 movies on vhs. Never knew about this game but it looks fun hopefully one day I can get a copy and play it

Me and my whole family played this game, we all loved it. My parents were not good at it but were very emotionally invested 😂 despite that we never actually fully completed it, I think I got stuck on Nasira’s Lair level 1

I remember only this game had very sensitive controls and a slight movement would cause too much movement ending up Aladdin fall off from the building
Huh, that's weird. There are differences between this release and the PAL version I have. On the bonus jackpot screen, there's no prompt saying 'press X to start' in my copy, nor are there any of those silver Aladdins, only the gold ones. That, and the screens telling you the controls before a level begins are absent (yes, I played this way too much, growing up).
I'm actually interested in the development of this game, like the reasons for the unused soundtracks, and the demo mode showing an early version of the game for some reason.

It took me way too long to find this game. I couldn't remember what it was called, and whenever I searched for Aladdin video games, the Nintendo version was all that came up. I remember getting stuck on like the 3rd or 4th level when I was around 6 years old.
It's nice to remember that some of these stages were challenging for me at the age of 9
If there's hell, it's full with endless attempts to finish the ice slide in the Cave of Wonders. Damn I hate this part...

Wait! So there were two Aladdin figures that provided you with extra lives? When I played there was only the golden one that only gave you 1+ life, not 3. That's why I quit playing in the first place, getting extra lives was exceptionally hard and having to replay everything from the start was a big no.

the pyramid levels were so incredibly creepy, especially the music which made me so fuckin scared as a child, but then the boss battle with anubis came and the oasis music completely ruined the atmosphere :'D
If Those eyes on the blocks are supposed to represent the eye of Horus they failed miserably it doesn't even look close to the real thing. Pyramid level doesn't even look Egyptian to me .
