These videos are a lifesaver for my chemistry practical write-ups, they are so clear about each step and help me to remember what I need to include. Thank you so much!
It’s pretty decent, covers almost all the points of A Level AQA prep of standard solution. Good video!
Thank you for this wonderful video, just wondering how did you get the concentration for the solution at the end please? Thank you!
This is super helpful, thanks!
OMG IT'S FRAN!!!
Very well explained, thanks!
1:16 Why can't you just tare the mass of the balance with just the weighing boat on it????
It's because some of the sodium carbonate might still be in the weighing boat.
If you put the weighing boat on the balance and tare before adding sodium carbonate, then you know how much is in the weighing boat, but that might not be the same as how much ends up in the beaker.
Does that make sense?
Thanks,
that video saved me :)

We're on the third one, why am I watching the first and crying over what I did wrong?
had a question on this yesterday.. safe to say I lost those 6 marks
Is this GCSE or A level?

Here
I think it will be more accurate to measure the weighing boat first. Because after weighing the sodium carbonate there may be some leftover on the boat which may increase its weight.
but if you weigh it before surely you wont know what has been left in the weighingboat after pouring it into the beak. if you weigh it after than you can subract the weight boat and any bits left in
Miss see me yere miss😂
