These guys are great.They have the tradional bluegrass . But country music has taken songs like this and adulterated it and cut it into pieces. Great work Foghorn don't let up! keep going!

I thought the only version of this worth listening to was sung by Lester, Earl, & Curley with Paul, Jake, & Josh backing them. Then 60 years later, or so, I find this version of it... y'all nailed it!

When I was little my mom and aunts would sit outside under the big maples and snap the string-beans to be canned. They'd sing songs like this. I'd say I was helping, but really what I was mainly doing was fidgeting around and goofing off. I was just happy to be out of the hot garden sitting in the cool shade. Happy memories music evokes!

Saw the Foghorn Stringband for the first time at the Joe Val Festival in Framingham, Ma in Feb 2016. You guys are the best. Harmonies are fantastic. Hope to see you at some the Northern festivals.

Great, did you see them at the dance? They played super 2 step older country stuff, I haven't danced in years but really enjoyed it.
+RTRDick Didn't see them at the dance but I will for now on. What talent. I'm going to suggest to festival organizers in the North East that they be included in the lineups. Their harmonies and music selection are sesational.

I'm 9 years behind you. A california girl born and raised, with bluegrass somehow in my blood, or at least in my spirit, DNA? And I fall in love with all ages of boys/men. Crushes and fantasies. Especially musicians.
@@dbpw34l I'm pushing 80 and stop in almost every day and listen to a few of their songs, sometimes when I'm here alone, I crank the sound up all the way play it for hours, can hear it all thru the house

I love this group and have watched all their videos. Doesn't the ending on this one seem a little strange? When they finish playing, they just stand there, look at each other and don't move or say anything.
