Lovely images Izzy, particularly the first one of the jetty at 6:50 with a wonderful sky beautifully captured.

Glad they maintain the jetty. Too easy to pull them down to save maintenance expense. I agree with Helen the second last image with the sun just up is a beauty. Gladl to see you conquered your nemesis.

Wonderful as per usual ! The colour of the water and the flow on the rocks did it for me 😍😍

Morning Izzy and Raffy! Perseverance really pays off! The jetty shots just fantastic and so worth the effort waiting for. Great lessons in image composition too - just moving a little to give that perfect balance. The last two images though are my favourite - the sun just over the horizon with the beams across the water balancing the rocks on the right - but I do so love long exposures - this one was sublime. So happy to see Raffy all better. See you next week!!

Nice shots, as usual. Looks like a pleasing morning out. I do remember this spot from previous videos too. Always interesting how the same places change - in some way, even if only for the conditions - each time we go.

I really liked the composition of the dock on the one around 18:50 and all the work you put into it. The age of the wood seems to tell quite a story of the many who have gone up and down and walked there, and yet the wood looked rich at the same time, with character I guess I would say. Having the sun almost set on that one was so appropriate.

I was wondering about the fence, and how the newness of it would work with the seasoned structure: when I saw the B&W at 13:30-ish, I just thought it was wonderful! I thought it was a terrific old-and-new blend. Watching the clip, it's remarkable that the light builds so very quickly. The final image at 23 minutes captured my attention. The bulge of the not-quite-a-wave around the middle of the image led my eye along to the rocks coming in from the distant right. I liked it very much, and shall have to watch out for that next year when I get dispensation to visit the sea again.😉 Thanks for another wonderful clip.

Inspiring video, Its like that where we stay in our van at Xmas, beautiful spot but getting a great shot has eluded me for years, if the tide is right the sky is grey or blue if the sky is good the tide is not. I'm determined to get a good picture & will keep trying until I do!

Absolutely beautiful images, and your video sooo nice to watch ..... like a Sunday treat for me.
I just wonder why they put this "not so nice" fence on this jetty. It's not really a big jetty and the
use of timber instead would have been a lot nicer.

What a lovely morning. When you showed the histogram for the first image it clearly indicated you didn't blow out the highlights and it also showed that you had substantial shadows. Obviously you recovered some of the shadows but how do you decide how much of the shadows you want to recover? Is it just what you feel is right? Recovering too much of the shadows always seems to create a really awkward looking image to me? In the later image for which you showed the histogram the light had brightened enough such that you didn't really have a shadow issue. Just curious how make the judgement. Beautiful images as always.
