so i have struggled with knowing if my hair is curly, wavy or straight, and the best way that i figured it out was trying out hair routines for each hair type and seeing and comparing the results. i did a lot of research on hair types and hair behaviors, and it really helped me figure out what was going on. based on the information you gave about your hair (your hair type and routine) you probably have type 1c hair, which is straight hair with the most dimension before wavy.

If you are worried about oily hair and dry hair in some places there's a method of putting in a small amount of conditioner on your scalp and letting it get through the rest of your hair when you rinse it. Also if you want to start styling your natural curls invest in some curly/wavy hair products! Although this may be an expensive process because you need to test products out (they may not all work out on your hair type) it is worth it in the long run!
