Ok, ok! You guys win! Here's some Mega Man! Haha, you know how hard it was to track this down? (Actually not hard at all, just played it online...) And then just GET TO THIS STAGE?! God, I've played other Mega Man games, and everytime I do, I remember why I don't play Mega Man. It breaks my balls. Hardcore. For the most part, platformers and me don't get along very well. You can't say I don't love you guys. The things I do. Haha.
So I felt pretty stupid when I decided on this song because I didn't realize that everyone and their mothers have covered this song. So I took a lot of creative liberties. I made sure that for the most part, all the stuff in the original is in here. I just added stuff. A lot of you guys liked the solo from the last video so I threw one together for this one too! A lot of you guys felt the last solo was too short, so I took up a bit more time with this one. I hate playing bass with a pick but my hand was falling off my forearm after just one run through this with finger picking. I decided to spare my hand and just pick it, so I know how pissed people get at playing metal with bass pick. Sorry about that...
It was my birthday on Saturday! I got some great bday wishes from you guys, thanks! My family pitched in to get me another guitar which should be arriving soon, and my friends pitched in to get me an Xbox! Maybe you'll see me playing around on Battlefield BC2! See you kids next week, I've done two very well known songs, and next week's gonna be my last borderline obscure song til my break in July. Just got a bit more to go!

@PhoenixTheVIII I use heavy picks (1.0 mm) and it does take a lot of practice to play fast cleanly.

@zewm That's actually hard to answer, I'd say it's easier to go guitar to bass since you're just taking out two strings.
Wish he could Redo this. The cover is amazing just the sound quality is kinda butt.
Yeah unfortunately a few of those 8-years-old video have a meh sound quality, which ruins a bit the amazing covers. It's the same with the Hot Damned cover. The downloadable MP3 has a better quality though

Man, if you EVER do a Megaman medley, PLEASE do Metal Man's stage. It's probably my favorite tune other than this one and the intro. Hell, just do a Megaman 2 medley and I'd be happy, but there are other songs that deserve justice.

Mega Man 2 has some of the best music out of any 8 bit game from what I've personally observed. It's good shit and your own interpretation/version of the song is interesting. Thumbs up.

@FamilyJules7X Pendulum is a band, one of the most played on all games like Audiosurf, and Beat Hazard, I imagine "breaking the pendulum barrier" means your songs are starting to get played even more than theirs, congrats.

This is amazing! Very nice playing, and tasteful soloing. You didn't go all shred-crazy like some people do, you held back and used it when it worked. I also like the key modulation near the end, it was well executed. My only suggestion would be to bring the highs down next time... There was a bit of trebly noise going on in the background, maybe it was too compressed or too loud (clipping).
