The performing members on this album are current members Mike Truman (guitar, keyboards, programming, engineer, mixing) and Chris Healings (keyboards, programming, engineer, mixing), and past member Adam Taylor (acoustic guitar). Also, the other past member is Lee Mullin and the other current member is Charlotte James.
Actually, both Just For Today and Dogstar are in SR3. Dogstar plays when you rescue Oleg and kill Phillipe Loren, (just the violin part of Dogstar plays). Just For Today play when you falling in the STAG tank before the zombie mission.
Last Man Standing also plays throughout Learning Computer, particularly when you get to the PR Center and when you're chasing the truck using the Challenger (STAG tank).
Check out the artist "Thievery Corporation" and the song "Revolution Solution". Perry sings and that as well. Almost doesn't even sound like him!! Perry is only involved with the BEST music man!!

I remember listening through this album over and over again while playing _Civilization 4_ a few months ago. Creating and destroying nations listening to this music was just unreal!

The 'Dog Star' is Sirius, located in the constellation of the 'Big Dog (Canis Major)'. 'Dog day afternoons' comes from ancient times. Cultures then, such as the Romans, thought that Sirius added its brightness to that of the Sun during the day - therefore giving them brutally hot and oppressive weather conditions. This song is all about celestial phenomena and their impact on humans behavior - at least that's my interpretation, but then again I am biased because I'm an astronomer :-)
