Sometimes I cry when I listen to this track due to how it beautifully sounds and because it reminds beautiful and sad times my life has gone through. These guys and Harry Gregson-Williams are geniuses.
This song always reminds me of life... Beauty... Sadness... The bravery of being here. All the lessons we learn along the way. When we start to hear our own angels sing, face our fears, and live... Just for Today... Hybrid... Brilliant doesn't even come close..
Fun fact: Researchers from USC released a study that suggests that only about 50 percent of people feel things like shivers, a lump in their throat, and goosebumps when they listen to music.
This music is all about skydiving and freefalling...told myself last year I wouldn't listen to this again until I experienced soaring through the sky myself. Well I'm here now...guess what I did this evening =)
I found this track through Top Gear on BBC (Their BMW Z4M review, to be precise), and if you want a show that is wall-to-wall bangers then late 2000s Top Gear is what you want. They used Amon Tobin, Crystal Method, Them Crooked Vultures, Ian Brown, even Frank "Command and Conquer" Klepacki.
@@ojrmk1 Agreed! Top Gear was consistently a good source of music throughout that time. I remember discovering some obscure piano piece by Dustin O'Halloran through one of their episodes.
Arguably one of the best end of album tracks ever for me. Simply stunning from start to finish. No band has ever come close to their fusion of electronic and orchestral music.
@@vhsarchives357 Absolutely! But only if you promise to put on some good headphones and give each one a listen ;) Being a hardcore EDM listener for 30 years I would say these are my top 5 all time biggest stompers 👅. Enjoy! 1. The best thing I ever did was go back to college and finish my degree. I have a new appriciation and admiration to what these lads do. Mike Truman and the rest is just genius.. Peace!!!
Wow. This still blows my mind. This is our life. Expressed in one of the most amazingly beautiful pieces of electronic music ever written. Thank you. It is an amazing journey.. Xo
First heard them on the SSX soundtrack.. been a huge fan ever since. Especially their departure into a more streamlined style with Disappear Here. Glad people are still talking about them.
Yeah, that's right. For example I found Hybrid while watching a Tekken 3 video someone made. It's good to find great music just my accident. Like finding a gem hidden somewhere. Most of my music I find just by accident. Gives a wonderful feeling. Better than what you get while listening to the regular radio or MTV channels.
I've never play Saints Row. I'm a musician. in love with Hybrid's sound. Have to say a huge thank you for all the beautiful moments you gave to me, guys! This song is one of my all time favs.
another great tune from Hybrid. This one is incredible too. I like the different variations... the contrasts... above all the utopic sounding voice of Kirsty... it takes me to a different world. Can't get enough of that!
discovering hybrid for the first time after hearing Finished Symphony a long long time ago, and am now compelled to buy their discography after hearing this masterpiece !
Man, I remember hearing this ages ago in some Tekken 3 Yoshimitsu video and had to know what the track name was immediately. Even to this day, I think it's very beautifully composed, to say the least.
Fuck yes! I thought I'd heard this from somewhere before. It's nice to hear it stand alone. Albeit it doesn't fit Saints 3's gangsta tone, it fit the freefalling tank moment so well.
The crescendo on this tune after about 6 minutes is perfect!! I wish that bit repeated somehow. Tune could do with another 4 minutes of the crescendo of sounds
Hybrid was brought to my attention by Saints Row, I admit, but it also got to appreciate how wonderful the music is. So I agree with your statement: Just be happy and listen to some awesome music. :P
Wow, I've never seen such a ridiculous reason to argue with each other. I've been a fan of Hybrid for a while and I've known about this song way before I played Saint's Row 3. Why on Earth would you be upset that people are beginning to appreciate Hybrid just because they found out about it through a video game? You have to find out somehow, and in the end both parties wind up enjoying their music. I swear, some people make so little sense sometimes.
This song gives me so much happiness and hopes that my life will bring me more happiness and troubles (this song has all the feelings). Inspiring. Also, I get chills whenever I hear the end of the song.
I'm in Kentucky, WFPK is a local station that during the day plays everything from bluegrass to rock to pop and more, but at night between 1am and 2am they play dance, electronica, dubstep, rap, and pretty much anything you wouldnt expect to hear on the radio. its a show called Nightvisons. the station does stream online 24/7 at wfpk(dot)org after 2am they play jazz, not sure when it transitions again after that.
I directly credit this song for campaign victories in Telaar and Halaa, and my decision to learn the Cello. Thanks Hybrid for some of the best memories of my life.
Thank you for this upload. And thanks to the community at the Saints Row website for helping me find this masterpiece. I can't tell you how long I've been looking for this. Thank you.

This feels like a very dramatic movie/game endgame scene.
It hard not to choke up from the beauty, it's almost too much to handle at times. By far the most beautiful track I've ever heard.
Fun fact: Researchers from USC released a study that suggests that only about 50 percent of people feel things like shivers, a lump in their throat, and goosebumps when they listen to music.
This is one of the best tracks I have ever heard! People need to be creating more at this standard, end of!!!!

Some of the most beautiful combinations of electronic music and orchestra
I can F'N do anything when I'm listening to this song!!!
Incredible track. For some reason it reminds me of Ace Combat , the game soundtrack from 90s -00s titles.
it definitely has that electronic + orchestral+choir mix that Ace Combat loves to do. All that is missing is a couple of horns
