They are actually on a hiatus right now ( due to military services) but the members who are not enlisted yet or already done their services are active as soloists in various ways ( some of them making solo music and some of them working on their acting career). lets talk about the mvs you reacted. For Eternity, you almost got it all. Its a song about a pass relationship. They were talking about stucking in past, in good memories from an already ended love. So they were saying " love is a nightmare" because its end and only the memories stay behind. Vixx is the group known as kings of concepts due to their detailed unique and mostly dark concepts. And for eternity, there is little but interesting details. For example there is a scene the clock stopped at 6.20 which is VIXX in Roman numbers. Also since they were talking about living in a memory as a circle, you can see their choreo was in reverse and kind of repeating itself. For Fantasy, its actually the second part of their conception trilogy. And yes there is a storyline among those three mvs ( Dynamite, fantasy, the closer) but the storyline isnt related to Eternity. The three songs are title songs of their three albums btw. The concept of this one is a little bit darker as you already guessed. Its a concept about Greek Mythology and if I remember correct Fantasy was the part based on Hades. And since you mentioned about the beat, its actually moonlight sonata by Bethowen. And since you said you are a gamer, I feel like you'll feel close one of their members really quick. The member Im talking about is Hongbin, and he is a pro gamer. I guess he is ranked #7 at overwatch and he plays other games too but since Im not related to any game at all I'll stop talking here while leaving his personal youtube channel here. You were speculating about if they have a storyline and I know it was touched on in another comment they have mini-storylines instead of one large one (that would be Verivery who have a large overreaching arc to their songs/mvs). For each comeback, VIXX reinvents themselves to fit a new theme - they change their styling, clothing, and musical choices to fit their new themes. They've been cyborgs, vampires, video game characters (very early VIXX still mostly cheerful too), Greek Gods, living dolls. Their songs are often tackling darker themes and they have been trendsetters as well. Some of their mini-storylines have been HYDE and G.R.8 U as well as the Conception Trilogy of Dynamite, Fantasy, and The Closer though technically the story starts with The Closer.
