So here are some tips (Mainly for Xbox users since I beat him on Xbox) For starters: - You CAN in fact do this with only hush puppies and soul sword, even after the bug to freeze the spinning bones - You obviously can jump up on the door to avoid 2 major attacks - If your xbox and don’t have shiftlock, for the red bone sweeping attacks, just look upwards at an angle to where you still see hyper and the bones (beneath the red blocking the bones from being seen) - For attacks like spear circle, reverse bone zone, and trident barrages, its better to jump and move somewhat quickly in the area allowed. Whether it be moving and jumping out of the spear circle, jumping whilst standing sideways to try and avoid the purple fires in the bonezone, or just moving and jumping to avoid the tridents (NEVER move too fast or the lovely spinning bones will melt you). - Always hit him with stars before he reaches you for pre-damage in the beginning - Shoot him with stars while standing on the door to avoid attacks (be cautious of the next attack afterwards and be sure to hop off the door and stop shooting stars) - Heal ONLY when at 100 hp, unless you are taking the entirety of each attack, you should only be getting hit once or twice occasionally (you should be skilled enough to dodge at least red bones and orange/blue circles without taking much damage at a point) - Be persistent. It gets you much further to keep trying, even if you need to regrind money. - Bring extra pies with tem tokens, the base fight is beatable without bugs (with the door) and hush puppies alone. NEVER buy all for one fight though, as he could one shot with a lot of attacks if you are unlucky and you could lose all your pies. - Another tip for xbox users: Keep your soul sword on the far right of your inventory, and put your worst food next to it (hush puppies) and your best food (pies) to the left of the hush puppies. This allows you to hit him with SS, switch to your weaker food first, then get to the pies when those run out, all while keeping your inventory clear. - Also, clear your inventory of other weapons, lol. - One last detail: the red bones hitboxes are in front of them and on them, so jump early for each red bone to ensure you take no damage. Hope these help, ik this fight is hard.
I'm not even sure you can fight him pre-D7. Even if you can, I wonder how you're supposed to take out all 5k hp without dying if even pre-D7 fatal error with 700 hp sometimes is a problem to melee. 100% you can't.

Contrary to your channel name, it actually helped me kill hyper dust because I did t k ow about the ruin door exploit for the purple floor
