One thing no one is talking about is the cleaning solutions that u need to buy from Narwal. They have should have giving a reusable container the same shape to put in our cleaning solution of choice. It remind me of Apple they want to keep u hook in. I actually contact them about this and the explanation was we will never discontinue the cleaning solution. Some people keep these things for years end. For example, the new roborock that has not come out that competes with this has a reusable solutions container.
It is possible that a third party company may produce a cleaning solution. However, yes, many companies have a dedicated ecosystem of products that work together- just like Apple.
You can always figure out how to open those containers. Look on here how to open a swiffer top, or u can put ur FAVORITE solution directly in the water!
You showed the fake poop on the floor then it was removed when you did the actual test ? Does it do well with cables beacuse i noticed they wernt in the test too
I ended up having to reset to the maze before I filmed and I forgot to put it back down. With cords, it seems them sometimes, but not always. It's pretty challenging for a lot of robots still.
Thank you for the detailed review and test of the unique, tangle free brush roll. I’d love to learn more about how long the 1 liter bags with dust compression really last… I know the manufacturer says 7 weeks… I’d be fine with ~4. Any insights on this front?
I’ve been using about 2 weeks and with a lot of pet hair it’s not full yet. I’d imagine bag life might depend on what you’re vacuuming and how often. It does have a conventional container as well.
My problem with those bags is that it’s clearly another source of recurring cost. I know one can just use the regular container, and it’s nice that they give you that option. But it does make me wonder if I should purchase this when other robots at similar price point wouldn’t be as inconvenient.
Most of the high end robots have a disposable bag in the base station. There's no real difference here, other than that Narwal gives you the option of disposable or reusable on-board.
@@vacuumnerds is that true? I’m checking Roborock models, and you can run a bagless bin. Not the same thing as the the Narwal - I’m talking about the actual bin that is stationary, not coupled to the robot. The robot bagless bin is not a replacement for a stationary bagless bin.
How does it deal with socks and cables left on the floor? I realize that it doesn't have obstacle recognition but just curious about these obstacles as my pup likes to constantly drag these items out. 😊
Having a video sponsored by narwhal be a review for the narwhal vacuum is not OK. Maybe it’d be fine for a first look or an overview but if you’re gonna review an item it can’t be on a video sponsored by the manufacturer. Zero credibility. You did disclose that the video was sponsored by Narwal and I applaud that.
03:21 great video. 👏👏 correct me if I am wrong, but the triangular shape doesn't mean it will keep contact. The round ones also keep contact because the mop touches the borders anyway. 😊
The contact patch should be wider throughout the rotation than 2 circular ones that meet at a small area. It’s supposed to eliminate that possible dry area between the pads. In practice, manufacturers do things different ways.
Wow that’s a machine, they had incorporated anti tangle tech that works. It looks like new Smartphone could wait because this thing looks excellent. Thanks Vacuum Nerds
A concern for our home is we have two large area rugs with 2" tassels on two sides of each area floor rug. How would this vacuum handle this.... would it not just jam up on the tassels every time making it very problematic?
Yeah and they just didn't talk about it at all. The Narwal vacuums are super strange to me, I am yet to find a review that isn't sponsored by them/very biased.
Question? How does this Narwal Freo X Ultra handle rugs with tassels? My iRobots get tangled and freez. I must use dental tools to free these Roombas made by iRobot.😢
@@vacuumnerds My iRobot 600 and 800 does not have that feature. However, I have tucked them under the rugs or else the rugs would be ruined as they were with my first Persian rug, which the family took 1 year to weave! The cost to repair was more than 2 new robots. I destroyed the two iRobots plus repaired these rugs for a charity. I believe AI Avoidence will fix the problem so, until then, I must "tuck" the tassels. Hand carved oriental rugs have same risks but machine made cheap rugs do not. Hand made rugs are feathered so they can last a lifetime as the owner walks on the sides of the threads. Dirt does not enter the fibers and floats on top. I use the Sebo 2 times a month. I steam once per year. They are now over 80 years old and look about 5 yrs old. My next robot will be Eufy or Norwal to clean ceramic tile floors and 1" solid plank bamboo . Thanks a million for your support in your professionalism. I'm a Robot user going back to the first iRobots. Key is maintenance for longevity. 😊😇😊

@156aliciasy have u been able to open yours and put another solution in it?
Love the dual side brushes. I wish all robots had them
Looks awesome but $259.99 for accessories that need replacing is crazy. I wonder how long everything lasts?

How does it compare with Dreame x30 ultra?

Very clever brush roll
The brush roll is fantastic. First truly anti tangle brush roll I've tested.

It's good with socks and larger objects.
Gotcha! 👍 I'll have to be extra vigilant with cables. 🔌 Thank you!
it seems good, they missed the mark on the mopping with no extending mop pads. All other vaccs in this price point have that 😢
I love your socks and kitty!!!
He’s a rascal!

The anti-tangle brush roll is really good
A concern for our home is we have two large area rugs with 2" tassels on two sides of each area floor rug.

Yes - tassels can be problematic for robot vacuums. I don't think this will work well for your particular circumstance.
Can we use discaler or vinegar to remove deposited calcium? Will It affect to robot
You can used those safely
Anyone else having issues with it just doing a single strip in a room and the app just sits on the Loading screen?
Anyone see how it ran right over that poop?
Yeah and they just didn't talk about it at all. The Narwal vacuums are super strange to me, I am yet to find a review that isn't sponsored by them/very biased.
Can we use hard water in this machine?
Yes, but like any appliance you might see some calcium build up.
So what to do to remove calcium?
Question? How does this Narwal Freo X Ultra handle rugs with tassels? My iRobots get tangled and freez. I must use dental tools to free these Roombas made by iRobot.😢
I'm not sure. I don't have any rugs with tassels. Maybe you can set your robot to avoid that rug?

I haven't put them back to back yet.
Can you try the Ecovacs T30?
I will be doing that next month !
How well it cleans cat poop?
No robot vacuum will clean cat poop!
Can it drop the mops automatically, if i have a thick carpet?
It does not drop its mops
You should test your eureka power speed
I’ve already tested it.
Cat approved haha
My cats seemed to like it!
It doesn't have a self emptying dust bin, deal breaker.
Check out the many other robots I've reviewed which are self-emptying ua-cam.com/play/PLBpd5JNcqAJz-0tndhgOwaFBgNpu56sqi.html
6:02 WHY?
Why would I empty the dirty water tank?
Nice socks 😂
I like socks
How does it work avoiding cat toys? This is something I never see on any reviews.
I'll add that into future videos! It's going to depend mainly on the size of the toy. The bigger the toy, the better the chance it will avoid it.
