(or even maybe some chopped fresh mint in the crumb mix; i'm not sure about the mint, though.) they seem such perfect flavor accompaniments to a French bean, duck, and sausage casserole slash stew. which is it -- stew or casserole? what would a cassoulet be considered? (besides a cassole, id est.)
