Mr Brown is correct about the xenophobia I stayed in SA for six years and they showed love only felt unsafe with my own people we are not united any more on music we as Zimbabweans need to learn to support our artists and ivooowooo maartists echo need to learn the business ndatenda hangu ndiniiiwenyuu subscriber mukuru when are starting membership peaks?

This is the best interview ever after Shadaya' s interview. I like the honesty of Mr Brown on issues of xenophobia. South Africa is very accomodative to the neighbours and other foreign nationals. The Zim Permit was a temporary measure by South African government, and those who still want to be in RSA need to apply for correct visas from the country of origin. From your RSA number 1 subscriber!!!

But to say ndebeles are involved in attacking other foreigners is just a way of insulting us for no reason I don't know why these people hate us so much

I think Mr Brown is now more South African. The dynamics that work this side in Zim are very different you know......in Zim we need the lyrics, we need the depth, had Macheso lacked depth in lyrical content am sure he wouldn't have reached the level he is today. Thats us being original and being us....the SA side where people are used to House and all can dance to no lyrics and artists make money all the same. We just don't have an industry this end but otherwise had it been tidier am sure it would have worked for most local artist, nothing is normal in this teapot country. He worked hard, doors opened and he working smart.....thumbs up!

He never said xenophobia is good. He said there are some Zimbos who are also involved in inciting violence against foreigners and thats true. He also highlighted that there are a few of our pple involved in crime and we know thats true. Having said that, nothing justfies violence by one group to another.
