After my ‘08 9-3 got totaled from being in the middle of a 3 car pileup, I have just this past week, gotten a a blue 2010 9-5 Aero XWD. Watching this video made me smile so much. I was so lucky to find this gem at a used “Saab” dealer in town. One owner, meticulously maintained and now mine! Love this car, love Saab. 4th Saab I’ve owned and I’m absolutely excited to have the best of the best before they went bust.
I still have my 2011 9-5 Aero XWD. Love it, and have no plans to part ways anytime soon. This is a very nice car. I have had a 2000 9-5 Aero and a 2006 9-7 X L. It’s a shame what GM did to the brand.
It looks so much better than the Previous generation 9-5 and it looks better than the BMW 5 series and Mercades S class of the time. The design looks imposing yet son elegant.
I think the previous 9-5 from -98 to -01 looks very stylish, also -02 to -05 is very good, even -06 Dame Edna is a classy Saab. The NG 9-5 was brought too soon on the market, better Saab quality would have been more important.
So sad to think that SAAB is no more. Always loved the shape of SAAB cars, with that iconic long bonnet. And to think that the same thing nearly happened to VOLVO. Now when I see any VOLVO on the road, I always think of what could have been for SAAB. Pity. Excellent review, b,t,w. !!! 👌
The car looks so modern for 2010. Sadly it was only produced for 2 years until Saab went bankrupt. The estate version was even rarer. We didn't get to see Saab live on.
What a great, informative and un-biased review. I still think that the 9-5 NG looks very modern and does not look like something that came out twelve years ago. Sadly it's unlikely that I'll ever own one now as they're just a bit too long in the tooth.
What a fantastically in depth, well explained, and well presented review. Wish I had the chance to spec a new 9-5 after watching this. Alas it was not to be...!
Watching this makes me feel as if I were looking at a car just released. It's kind of crazy to realize this car is around 12 years old. It is really a timeless design inside and out, let alone its tech being ahead of its time and somewhat current
Love my 2010 9-5 Aero Turbo6! Now and then people come up to me at the gas station and want to have a look, this model engages non-car-people in an unusual amount!
@@saabismionsairautta4954 because these were expensive for the visible features they offered the target demographic for this car didn't care that these were built like tanks and would let you walk out of a crash that would have been fatal otherwise

True. It still doesn't look old.

I want one so bad
We want Saab back.
The David Attenborough of car's 🚗 🚘
Love that! 😂
If it went independent 2010 then why’d it die out
Sales didint add to costs. Its shame this 9-5 was last saab and selled quite poorly

Lack of funds. Plus GM veto'ed chinese from buying into Saab when it was under Spyker ownership. They simply ran out of money.
It's good choice to own Saab but not GM
That’s a 3rd gen 9-5
Pretentious wood 😂😂
Its not rwd, no one needs em!
not in a saab anyways. alltho o have seen some 9000 that has been converted to rwd.
