Great video, I just bought this pellet grill and after a hour the hopper started to smoke allot and i was scared the pellets would get on fire. What is your experience about this ?
Ive had this happen before, it seems that the angle of the feeding area to the burn pit isn't steep enough. What Ive been doing it put a piece of wood (about an inch high) under the left side of the machine. Raising the left side up I haven't had any more issues. Maybe give that a try
I just purchased one of the PB150PPS. ATTEMPTING to smoke some Steelhead. This thing on smoke is cooking in temperatures way to hi to get a 4-6 hour smoke on the meat. It is operating around 240 degrees, so therefore my Steelhead shall be completely cooked prior to ever getting much smoke flavor AT ALL. I shall be contacting PITBOSS about getting a refund and if they wish to pay me...I shall ship back to them. If I had just wanted a griller, I could have chosen one, vice a pellet smoker.

The lowest setting on mine is “smoke” which is about 180 degrees.
