What I do is carefully attach a very slim arts tape to one corner of the filter and create a handle tab. That makes handling and removing much easier. I'm not new to using gel filters at the back end of lenses though. I sandwich up to 2 filters to make them darker.

Good question!
Irix should have made the filter in slightly rectangle shape instead of square. That way it will be easier to remove the filter when you have a little bit left outside.
also the instructor should have used her nail to push/slide the filter in. That way you won't left fingerprint on the filter.

hello guys, not so easy to install, can i unscrew the three screws a lil please ? because installing the filter this way, currently scratches the gelatin out..
Hi, thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, you can loosen the screws slightly, the filter should then go in easier.

Do you have any 10 stop for serious long exposure? Otherwise is it possible to stack the three to get 9 stops? I see people complain they are hard to remove wouldn't that mean they will be hard to remove if you stack? Please answer my question I need to know this asap before I place an order.
Hello! Also, Irix rear filter slot has little indentation which holds the gel filter on its place - if you want to remove the filter you'll need to slightly undermine the filter. Of course, there is a possibility to stack a few gel filters but it could downgrade the overall image quality so if you want 10 stop ND filter we highly recommend the Irix Edge 1000ND filter.

Yeah, only it doesn't slide in this easily, not even close. Not to mention the pain of removing them.
That's why they bundle 5 for each level. They know you will break it whenever you are trying to remove it. And the color casting is severe too. I regret to buy a set of it....
Reallly? i was thinkin in buyin one set of them, regular filters are better option? they are pretty expensive with a 95mm Ø tho..
