So much fun making these! All of the jars you see at the end had cost me a total of $34 plus $3.50 for Liquid nails purchased at Home Depot.

On the one with the silver lid, if you make a circle of cardboard (or balsa wood or something prettier that has some depth to it) you can cut it to be the size of the inside of the jar and glue it to the lid bottom it will act to hold the lid on perfectly. :)

I am a bit crafty but I haven't been experimental or had nearly enough experience with multiple types of glues. What's the difference between liquid nails vs e6000? Would you "hobby crafters" (no disrespect WHAT SO EVER), with far more experience recommend one over the other or is more of a preference person to person? Thanks!! I LOVE these apothecary jars. I have so many glass containers with lids and glass candle stick holders (less than $0.50/candle stick holder) etc that I never thought to combined. I cannot wait to experiment!! Thank you. I enjoyed the video!! :) I would've suspended the crystal inside a thinner, elongated homemade apothecary jar, almost like an enclosed pendulum!! Where did you get the crystal from? Again, great job!!

    • @AlainasaurusRex

MiMi Joys 1963 that one was simply a candle stick I found, along with the jar that came with the lid. The jar had holes on the top and the bottom. Gluing it to the candlestick sealed the bottom hole. To seal the top I found a quartz crystal of mine to fit in there nicely, and I glues that. Easy fixes!

beautiful, I love the way you think outside the box. but speaking from personal experience, always wipe your pieces down with alcohol........not only does it get fingerprints or oils from fingers, but the dirt you can't see, you'd be horrified at the dirt I've wiped from glass items, not only from thrift stores, but when bought brand new
