Wow this production is awesome really enjoyed it and who cares if Clopin is a girl she’s awesome and that’s the cutest Quasimodo Iv ever seen Iv been lucky enough to visit Notre Dame and heard the bells also I left arose on the steps of the bell tower maybe hoping that Quasimodo would get it and see someone cares
As I seen many hunchback this hunchback of Quasimodo is the best handsome character and the actor in his master frollo is totally better then other frollo I seen. Same to Esmeralda I don’t have any other opinions for other characters
Wish I could act like that Iv only did a cosplay skit years ago I played Namime from Kingdom hearts wasn’t even filmed yet Quasimodo was in Kingdom hearts he befriended Sora
My school is in the middle of bringing this to life we show in a month and they fix us everyday and critique us everyday but our version as it is right now is still better than everything in this video. For instance CLOPIN IS NOT A GIRL!!!
You are very rude and arrogant. In the theater characters are often played by someone of the opposite gender. Post a video of your production and we'll see which is better.
As you are aware, being a part of the production in your own school, Hunchback features a predominately male cast. This happens a lot in theater, sadly. Many shows have great parts for females, but only a couple of them. For school productions, this isn't always a good thing, as drama clubs in schools tend to be predominately female. Our district had many talented young women, and as Esmeralda was the only featured female role, we made the choice to make Clopin the Queen of the Gypsies to offer more females an opportunity, and then we double casted the roles to further give the talented women of our program a chance. What you see here is the Saturday night performance. This happens often in theater. Right now, the character of Olaf in the Broadway version of Frozen has been cast as a female. And theatrical magazines offer suggestions of how to take the male characters of Newsies and make them work for women. Disney welcomes diversity and equality. With this all said, break a leg. May your production be as successful as POB's.
I see someone has no appreciation for the arts or for the English language that is. That wonderful run-on sentence could use a lot of work just like your character. Going through life comparing yourself to others and insulting other human beings is no way to live. It's almost like you have no idea of the message of this show. Also, it's 2020 and it's time to learn acceptance in the face of diversity. I hope you have a great day!

Music Theater International provides transpositions on demand, which makes it very easy for us to adjust the keys for our vocalists.

Esmeralda’s dress is almost identical to Esmaralda in the Disney movie
We went for a similar style, but the MTI and Disney contract stated that we couldn't copy it exactly.
