I made a plan back in October to pay off all of my consumer debt before April 30th. I'm consumer and medical debt free. I leave tomorrow for a solo trip for my bday. All excursions; hotel, car rental and spa day expenses are paid as well. I had to work 68 hours and sometimes up 80 a week. I'm thankful and grateful 🙏 😊

Keep in mind hotels do have taxes and fees aside from the cost per night and driving is not just gas but tolls as well and possible snack purchases at rest stops
One of my biggest expenses is the hotel. As a single and younger black woman, I hate going cheap on my hotels. I value cleanliness, safety, convenience and quiet so I always end up spending the most on the hotel
One of my biggest expenses was transportation/tips. I planned $140, but I really needed $190 total because of transfers to and from the airports were expensive using Uber.
I did this for our trip to Disney. I looked up the restaurants we’d eat at, activities, and tips. I put aside another $200 for emergencies. I booked through Expedia and they let you save your faves and I created a list called “upcoming vacay”, that way I was able to compare hotels andddd read reviews! Lastly I added a cushion for food.
