Hi. In this video I've made a standard saddle bag.
The technique add on in the video is the binding trim of the bag made by hand.
Hope you enjoy it.
In size of W 26 cm. | 10" 1/4"
D9.5 cm. | 3" 3/4"
H 21 cm. | 8" 1/4"
In this project we use local veg tanned leather in Bangkok, Thailand.
Amy Roke 3.38 pricking iron and Typical 4mm. diamond type pricking iron.
BondTech Glue, a local glue brand in Thailand
YueFung Thread in 0.55 from YueFung Hong Kong
Awl blade from Blanchard with custom made handle

If you want the bag smaller can you just scale the pattern down to 75%?? Will it still come together accurately??

Beautiful! I use a lot of chrome leather to do handbag. Never try veg tan except for straps. What is the thickness of the veg tan that you use in this bag gus?
I use 1.8mm thickness for many of my projects.

Hi. I just apply it sometimes.
Normally I use mink oil/paste from Columbus brand JAPAN.
