But listening to Sawani Shende Sathye is such a mesmerizing, transcendental experience that I was not myself but came to be blended integrated with her melodious music. I have enjoyed all the 3 parts of raag bagheshree renditioned by Sawaniji. As much as my heart is swelling without finding adequate words to express my admiration for her, I would like to equally place my appreciation for Dr.Sameeran walwekar who was moderating this performance with his beautiful mastery of words eliciting information appropriately a music student would demand to learn. Though I lack musical knowledge, I felt the Dr. seemed to play his role admirably seeking pertinent responses from the singer. May God bless Sawaniji. And also my fine regards to Sameeranji.
I do not understand much in classical movement but, I got stuck for hours in phase 1, 2, and 3. She explained and demonstrated so skillfully that it encourages the novice to learn notes, movements and expressing a mood. She is wonderful. Pranam Shindhe- ji.
