This needs some more attention! I think it represents most players experience. I disagree on the ranking of the Bike playlist, because redoing it with cars made it one of the best playlists for me. I think it's the bike handling, which throws you off!
You gotta give credit to those insanely well edited videos at the intros of each of the playlists. Blew my mind that Ubi went to such degree to make these for the game. Really surprising and beautiful efforts.
Yes thank you for mentioning how fire pearces lines are. Since in volume 2 his dialogue was in prerecorded trail logs, they could just make up whatever ridiculous scenarios they wanted and genuinely put a smile across my face for the whole playlist. I feel like many people write off in-race dialogue as stupid nonsense that adds nothing, but I feel like Pearce shows how these lines can really enhance races and make them especially memorable
I'm biased since I'm a NASCAR fan, but I think they could pull it off if they double the bot count and choose the right track, such as a chaotic short track like Bristol or the Daytona Road Course, which is the best of both worlds since it has a technical road section followed by a satisfying full-send oval
I know licensing would be a problem but imagine if they had more f1 cars and anded some indycars. Im not too much of a fan regarding nascar but I think something different from racing on that same island for like 7 events straight.
For vol 2. The chase squad goes in S tier. Not only is it really fun, but the open rivals makes it really fun to revisit and try to get your highest score. Also it’s a good way to let your aggression out if you’re upset, just boot up the game and absolutely murder street racers by smashing into them in a hyper car traveling at 280 mph. Oh, and the ending of the rivals section is the BIGGEST PLOT TWIST. I haven’t done made in Japan vol 2., so that may have more lore but I won’t spoil what the twist actually is.

I almost forgot to say smth, i did enjoyed electric odyssey and movie star playlists too. And i agree that the hoonigan playlist is S tier. Even tho i am not rly fond of rally/rally raid in grand races, but i enjoyed the offroad addict playlists.
Im someone who really hates offroad so i dreaded through the vol 1 but ngl it was actually a bit fun either way im dreading doing offroad addict vol 2😭😭😭

It is obvious that they made it so that the game would have some races on a Race Track, so it should not be a surprise that all of them are on track. Also many people have no problem racing on a race track, so the races feel original enough. However i would love a motorsport 2 introducing a new race track location
I put this tier list in A tier. Near perfect😁 my 2 cents... Vintage garage to S - the final two events are my fav in the entire game. Racing the F40 with Blondie playing in the background is just perfect. Donk vs lowrider to C - for the same reason you put drift there... just not my thing. Drift experience 1 to B - simply because i like it more than all the C tier ones. Everything else i agree with.
The Racing Class Bikes handle great in motorfest you need to adjust the pro settings and you can eliminate 90% of the understeer KingdomTwelve has a great video on it.
has anyone else had a problem with the challenges for the hawaii scenic tour playlist it says drive in a crew for 10 minutes how do i complete it? is it paywalled behind playstation plus because when i try to join a crew it brings up playstation plus. lmk if there is a glitch or anything.
You have to have a PlayStation plus membership to play online with other people. Goes across all the games except Fortnite I think. But yeah, you have to pay for that
@SpriteSponshorship I disliked this Playlist too (not as much as the bike one). But on the flying races where u have to get a perfect score, you have to be in the middle. When I say middle, I mean you have to actually hit the green plane symbol. While following the angle direction. Think of it like darts or anything that has a target. Aim for the middle to get a better score. Aim around it, you would get a decent score. Hope this helps!
I personally think motorfest has some inherently bad design choices, and when they are combined, they severely limit the enjoyment of the game. 1. Poor open world design.(giant open spaces with sparse roads thrown in) Most tracks become more about cheesing short cuts then driving skill. This a big reason why grand races, the games only pvp mode is so awful. 2. The roads aren't wide enough. (If theres a traffic car in every lane, you can't avoid them without going off road) 3. Aggressive oversteer when going off road. When you go offroad to avoid traffic, you spinout, or you're forced to loose all your speed. So the only enjoyment I get out of this game is cruising in open world with other players, or replaying the few good tracks to farm money.(Mostly the motorsport playlist) Even that isn't much fun, because the ai is so terrible.
There's a list of glitched challenges on the Reddit page for The Crew, but generally most of the clean driving challenges are glitched along with some Grand Race challenges
Tbh I didn't like any of the playlists too much, I view them the same way I view leveling in MMOs, you just have to get through it to start playing the actual game 😂
@@cernoch9849 as someone who loved the playlist regardless, I do feel like when I first got the game I was being pushed to do playlist more before I started doing grand races and stuff like it wasn’t until I completed 911 legacy, VC, donut, liberty walk, American muscle, Hawaiian scenic tour, both made in Japans, until I could actually free drive without a sense of urgency/pressure to do another playlist
