6:18 that's almost certainly Marika! It might even be the very moment she's establishing the Golden Order, splitting the Lands Between form the Land of Shadows, or maybe that's her assuming godhood. That pose with the rune flowing around looks a lot like Marika's rune we have in the game (the inverse of the Rune of Death)
Its definitely Marika, but I don't believe this is related to Golden order - that come much later with Radagon. Most likely she is ascending to godhood or maybe she is creating the first Eldtree.
@@tymak_cz the Golden Order definitely predates Radagon. He only appeared during the Liurnian wars, which was very much after the Golden Order was established. What started the Golden Order was the removal of the Rune of Death, after the Gloam Eye Queen threatened to replace Marika with her black flame (fire + rune of death). I agree with the second paragraph, but it could still be her killing the GEQ here (that lump of flesh looks kinda like a Godskin) and startng the new order without death.
@@Morrov About the death rune, before the DLC I got theory that it was already part of the Elden ring independently on Gloam eyed queen and then Marika somehow "unplug" it which might be related to the cataclysmic events as first cardinal sin and first shattering. After the first trailer I thought Marika might used Messmer to burn the Eldtree to get access to the Elden ring itself that was embedded in the trunk. Now I need to let this second trailer sink and reevaluate.
@@tymak_cz the Rune of Death was 100% a part of the Elden Ring, the GEQ simply used it to her advantage. Since Marika became Greater Will's god, she had full access to the Elden Ring. She tells Godfrey to brandish it in battle, and Enya tells us that she simply "plucked" Destined Death from the ring. She became a god because the Fingers, Greater Will's mouthpieces, chose her as one, so I don't think she needed to fight for the access to the ER. We can even see it being a part of her/Radagon's body during the Radabeast fight. I do think Messmer might have set the Erdtree on fire though, it's a glowy ghost very different to its offspring (Minor Erdtrees) that are made of normal wood, and the Erdtree was depicted as a normal wooden tree on old paintings too. Now Leyndell has a layer of ash and the tree is merely a "symbol of faith". It's probably why snakes are seen as blasphemous as far back as Godfrey's era, and that would be why Rykard, the blasphemous, associated himself with snakes, following the footsteps of Messmer probably not even knowing he existed, just knowing his long lasting legacy.
Great reaction! The "jellyfish" image of Miquella looks to be his Saint Trina aspect. And the figure at the beginning pulling out the gold threads and holding them up, judging by the bracelets and bangles on the arms, is actually Marika. Probably this is when she became a god.
It's hinted at by several in-game item descriptions, and there's a lot of cut content surrounding Trina that confirms it. Of course, cut content isn't "official," but it confirms that St. Trina being an aspect of Miquella was the original idea, at the very least.
Marika's "Ascension" in trailer really reminded me of Ranni's Age of Stars. I wonder if Empyrean can only become a fully-fledged God in a "place of power" that belonged to the previous order. Marika became Goddess in Red Crucible by summoning the Greater Will. Ranni became Goddess in Erdtree's husk by summoning the Dark Moon.
alternatively, the god of the age happens to be in a place of power, since marika seems to never leave the vicinity of the erdtree (even as radagon, she never crossed the fog to the outer world, only stayed in the lands between), and killing the god and claiming the elden ring is how the ascension happens. or, third option, claiming the elden ring makes the god and the location is meaningless beyond symbology.
It's interesting to note that the background surrounding Marika closely resembles the substance of the blasphemous blade. It's as if a blasphemous ritual had taken place at that moment or a blasphemous act had been committed. Additionally, there's the fact that this occurs long before everything else, as the trailer mentions: "Miquella speaks of the beginnings." Possibly, this refers to the creation of all that is golden and Marika's ascension. As for Messmer, he gives me the impression of being a scapegoat or, rather, a military straw man. I mean a person used in war to carry out brutal actions and then eliminated to dissociate from those acts. That's why it's an unsung war, an ignored or invisible war. Perhaps this ancient land, before the Erdtree and all that is golden, was used as a sacrifice, as fertilizer, for Marika's ascension and the golden age. At the same time, that land was hidden in the shadows to conceal that the holy emerged from the impure, or rather, from the sacrifice of an entire civilization, you know? So that no one would doubt the purity and divinity. This is as far as I can speculate. Another topic would be discussing the role of Miquella, who, along with Godwyn, seems to me the most interesting character in all of Elden Ring. PS: Well, there's also Marika. She is just as interesting.
It was officially stated by Bandai Namco that Marika began the Golden Order in the Realm of Shadow so I believe the first scene of the trailer we see is that. Especially since the golden thread she holds seems to resemble the rune arc she's crucified to. Also the pile of bodies with the opening in the middle reminds me of the opening that leads inside the Erdtree 🤔
@@Emmalition With the roots of the Erdtree taking the corpses of those that die, and minor Erdtrees being given human flesh from living jars to grow, the Erdtree itself being born from the corpses of so many doesn't seem too far off!

Radagon has always been a mystery. Him being his own person and becoming part of Marika later was always just one interpretation. His red hair and the connection to the fire giants was a sore point for that theory.
Babe wake up Emma from Emmalition posted
hahahahahahah
cannot wait for the new outfits for Elden bling 😅
Hold up, is the narrator Marika!?!
Wait, nvm. The narrator says at the end "We chose to follow." It can't be her.
this looks awesome. Emma, will you go back into Elden Ring and post some on here before the DLC to get back up to speed with controls and dynamics, etc...? please do
Yep I am planning that exact video.. it’s gonna be called Defrosting Fanta 😂
Loved it ❤❤❤
So Ranni is kind of the Neutral Good ending. Miquella will be the true Good ending?
Still waiting on that maxor elden ring part 3 reaction
From Soft, take my money again...🤩
i love your tweets. "are u single" XD also idk if it has always been that way but i never noticed your name is Eldenlition. 😂 (also im just commenting this here cuz i didnt know which tweet to make this comment under) edit: i went on that are you single guy's channel and the first comment i read is "She’s with someone that’s not you." referring to another comment he made on someone else's video. which implies he does this alot. LOL
That’s a dope shirt

wtf that was so fast LMAOOOOO
People are confusing, cause Miquella is very similar to Marika, but is not. Is Miquella and the all DLC is about him and the inmaculate gold that he create.
Miquella is already seducing me with this trailer and ive never even met him 😵💫
why he kinda 👀👀👀
I’m hyped

I can't wait for St Trina. The way the music switch from Messmer's Massacre to this angelic melody introducing Miquella, Trina and their followers is amazing, I actually cried watching this it goes from my stomach straight to my brain no joke intended. Loved your reactions, we'll rejoice in a month
