I feel that with drop shipping, the barriers to entry are now too low. Unless you have a super exceptional product with a patent or a moat, its not worth it. You want to be in a field where the barriers to entry are higher. At the beginning of the century, rappers were making huge profits by launching clothing lines and were literally just slapping their brands on t-shirts. BabyPhat, Rock-a-wear, Sean John, FuBu...(the older viewers will remember ;-). It worked! why? because it was kinda difficult! you had to find a producer, deal with distribution, pre-fabricate....etc. Then, came these platforms which offered on-demand printing and which allowed anyone to upload their graphics and create a store, (like Cafe press or Spread shirt...). The barriers to entry were suddenly super low. Anyone could do it easily. Okay, so what is the result? the result is that now, nobody cares anymore. Rappers are no longer doing that because anyone can do it. Its kinda the same with drop shipping. Ask yourself...do you want to be the 1 millionth person dropping bathroom scales onto amazon? It has kinda become a thing teenagers do in their free-time.

i wish i had seen this video before I started my dropshipping store. I lost about 500$ and made no sales. I spent 2 months in product hunting. Made an Excel sheet of products that had potential and products that met sales strict criteria. I even contacted two top-rated sellers on Amazon and asked them to critically analyze these products and then I selected two products and started my Shopify dropshipping store, Website and everything looked very professional yes. Sadly no Sales!
The problem with the e-shop website you mentioned, is their quality.. I mean, there can be only two reasons why their prices are so low: poor quality and/or extremely low production cost (through cheap labor, low to no QA control, etc, so again poor quality). The more people are using this e-shop (either to self use or even more to dropshipping) the more people's homes get full with low quality products, which is frightening! Poor quality on some plastic gismo means it will break soon; no big deal. However poor quality in electric stuff means boom! Also poor quality in clothes means no QA control on chemicals used for this, which can lead to a hell of bigger problems... You see where i'm getting... Now regarding the other thing you mentioned about "people you know, will buy these products"... hmm do you really want that? I mean, i've tried being "the ambassador" of a couple companies for certain products, which after i got to try out, i saw that the quality was damn poor! And i got them for "free" (except for the shipping costs...) At the end i thought, "i'm not gonna advertise a shitty product to someone i know, and use their trust on me for paying some 50-100 euros to get some shitty product, not worth half of it! " At the end of the day, it's MY name and people's trust on ME that's on the line... Anyways, just my 2 cents ;-) i like your work, keep it up!
Tbh what ya said is true but 3X the price is too much try to make a 5 dollar profit like 14 dollers would becom 21 round it up to 20 so it becomes a juicy price i know it might be a loss but if ya get more orders because of the good price it will get ya more money
For your 1000 sub achievement you should make a vid of how much you make and the biz’s you made that from and when you hit other milestones make new vids, keep up the good work I can see at this pace you’ll be at 10,000 Subs pretty quick
When will UA-camrs stop using clickbait titles. It creates a situation where whenever you upload a new video people don’t trust the title because there’s 99% chance it’s a lie and another clickbait.

The main reason u lost money is bc u sold it for $42. No one wants to build a basic beauty product for $42. Selling it for $20-$25 would have been better bc u still would have made profit $6-$11 per product
So you tried 1 product, ONE, and hoped to get results?? Dropshipping is not a get rich fast or easy money business. Like any business, needs knowledge, time, effort and consistency. You can find free content which explains A to Z how to make it in this business. You were in the right path, but so many optimizations need to be done in your strategy (product, store, ads).
Dropshipping is very hard these days with so many people already in it at the right time all new comers have lost their opportunity to build a living from it. Secondly, a lot of products can be purchased at a cheaper cost in store with the convenience of getting it NOW. thirdly YTer are paid sponsors being paid to lie is a great way of advertising it doesn't mean these YTer are actually making as much ad they claim its all scripted for promotion. Dropshipping is truly a wate of time these days. All niches are taken so if you want to truly make a living online provide a service of something you qualified in or legal allowed to provide that is a talent of a hobby. Art lessons, coaching, bookclub, anything that truly allows you to be the one in control

You don't! In clothing average return ratio is 20%. If you want to sell some cheap it'll be even higher because of poor quality and sizing.
