This is a great video, thank you! Please could you show us how to sell results? What do you actually include when you say that you've shown clients the past results?
I am currently using your advice. I would love a video on how to get past gatekeepers for web design. I had a quick phone call that went great, the person on the line was very receptive and told me to send my email. I found out on my follow-up phone call that she was the admin of the office. Basically, she told me that the business owners are busy and will reach out if they are interested. I will call back in a week or so anyway but how can I get past her and talk to the decision-maker?
I start with who I have best helped last and then switch to how can I find similar businesses. A lot of the time it will just be google but maybe it could also be social media or other ways. I rarely use LinkedIn - I find it very spammy. Whatever way you use just make sure to reach out in a non-spammy high-value way. Hope that helps.
@@RobORourke Thanks a lot Rob. It helped. I sent your email script, which you gave in this video, to only 5 businesses ( i found right businesses using your methods which you gave in a video about "How to find Right Clients") and 2 of them contacted me back (previously i sent around 20 emails but no response). Rob, Now what i have to show them because i sent proposals to Interior design Business but i have worked previously with colleges. Please Can you guid me on what i have to send them NOW? Again Thanks for your time.
Keep it as simple as possible to avoid wasting a ton of time. I don't try make any money with hosting - takes too much time, time that I could have spent doing something else that was way more profitable.
I don't do videos on contracts cause it will be different for every area. In general I keep it very simple/minimalistic and I always include Tax in the price (to keep it simple also). I do sometimes use contracts but I actually do a lot of "verbal" deals and just do my best to make sure me and the client have a great relationship.
This is real gold out here. You are doing a great job Rob. Please Keep up the good work. I just had a question that how you record and transcribe the phone calls??
Which software I should use for client management + project management + project management automation with client panel, I know that whmcs works fine but I need your suggestion. Thanks
I do things a little differently. When I hand off a site the client manages it fully from that point onward but they can always come back to me when/if they need anything. I DONT manage dozens of sites - I do one off projects with high profit margins and more on to the next projects. Just my own preferred style.
Which countries do you like to do cold call? I'm from Brazil, trying to contact New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland, Wales, North Ireland, Ireland with no success :(
Really got curious about how you get around potential client without an extensive portfolio. Wouldn't that raise a red flag...selling websites / marketing but not having a portfolio yourself? Is having a good copy or proposal really enough to close a deal?
Hey Rob, are you available for subcontracting at all? And if so, what would your price ranges be? Of course it varies per project, but do you charge by hour? By project? I'm the sales director with an awesome digital marketing agency in Cincinnati, Ohio and we're constantly getting incoming leads. Was curious if you'd have any interest in working together, I know you do some quality work. Let me know man, Thanks! (If you want to DM I can send you my contact info)
@@RobORourkeThanks for your time. I have no other businesses. I am a Student of MCS(Master of Computer science) and i have done 2 website Projects before, one for A Big College (they have around 10 branches) and one on Upwork which was an ecommerce site. But all this was before i learnt from you.
Once it got to 12,000+ it was taking hours for per to moderate. There were dozens of people trying to join each week to promote/sell/spam something. I ran my group for 3 years so it had a good run (and I really enjoyed it) but now I just focus on the private student groups.

So much value 👊 it seems like everyone else don’t want to share how to prospect clients, thanks so much for sharing this! 👊
Thanks! Glad it is helping and ya I feel there is a lack of this type of content on UA-cam.
Incredible content and help as usual Rob !

Should we cold call first and then cold email?

Great vid. Very actionable advice. Thanks Rob!
Thank you.
Which link is for the paid mentorship program?
Rob, how do you find potential clients like in this video? Do you use fb or LinkedIn or some other platform ?

@@arbaz3242 he's already covered that here
Do you have any tips when it comes to hosting?
Keep it as simple as possible to avoid wasting a ton of time.

Cheers Rob. Just an idea, would be great to see a live stream of one of your cold calling prospecting sessions 👌🏻
Ill see what I can do - with GDPR it changes things a little.
This is good but I fear rejection, I guess you have to go through the nos to get to the yeses.
you will get 99 nos before you get 1 yes, having this in mind makes it easier to go forward with cold calling.
What if I make an example website with a live link and my LOGO on top?
Not Many video left to accomplish my "see all the videos" challenge 👊
What about Web Design Business Contracts & tax forms? Do we really need to do them? If so, have you done any videos on this or plan on it?

I did this one all manually but I have used www.happyscribe.co/ quite a bit before.
Why did you stopped sharing videos maan , i wish you share more , your content is very useful and helpful thank you very very much.

hello, tell me please, where to get phone numbers for calling?
Don't your cold emails go straight to spam?
Do you use a CRM to help manage sales or just Google Drive?
