CanNOT WAIT to see this when it’s all done!! This space has just been sitting and waiting on you guys to make it functional and pretty!! I would also like to comment in response to someone saying you guys think you’re superior - that’s my brother and I didn’t even have to have the volume up to hear his sarcastic tone in this video. He is quite funny and generally just baffled at the lack of common sense out there!! You’ve got them all wrong!
It's going to be fabulous. It would be cool if you could make a sink cover so You have a laundry folding space right next to the dryer. The doggy on the outdoor chair is adorable ❤!!! Western Upstate NY Here Hello Grandma 💜✨
Beautiful home, and love the videos! Are the washer and dryer stackable? Or did you buy the kit? I would love to do mine, just don't have the room! Can't wait to see it all finished!!
My dryer doors switch. When it was installed I was asked which way to open. Also, I never realized how superior you guys feel you are to other people. Your husband When on and on, he did not put that counter together. Typical engineer attitude.
Superior? Her husband is a mechanical engineer and has common sense. I appreciate his showmanship. I saw what they were dismantling and am not surprised at the lack of knowledge that was shown of whomever did this 'table'. My father was an Engineer at Ford for many years and I was there when he renovated our basement and home. I learned a lot from him. Common sense is not that common.
An engineer must've really broke your heart! Time heals all wounds though so I suppose there's still hope for you. Also, I think he's talking about the washer door not being reversible. The washer should go on the bottom when it's stacked with a dryer and that's where he's pointing in the video. Either way, washer doors are not usually reversible. But you probably knew that already.
OK, I get the message and will try to keep my (next) brilliant idea to myself! 😂😂 I had finally settled in for the night and thought to catch up on a few videos before falling asleep … you have me laughing so hard I almost fell off the bed!! Pity the washer’s door isn’t reversible like the dryer; because of that one thing you have to do so much more work. Now for my next brilliant idea - what if you put the washer and dryer back in their original position / centered beneath the windows then build the countertop above the appliances? You could run the countertop the full length of the wall and its depth would be as wide as the appliances giving enough surface space for folding and even ironing. The one thing I’m not sure about is the height of the countertop and the height of the new laundry sink … if they’d be flush; as I picture the room, having them flush (or as close in height as possible) would give a cleaner feel to the space. I love the wallpaper and the tiles and the light fixtures over the windows are gorgeous but you may need a central ceiling light especially for dark winter nights. And a shelf or two or three for pretty storage canisters to hold detergent and other laundry paraphernalia. 🤩🥸🧐💡❤️❤️
😂😂😂 your idea was great! We were bummed when we realized we couldn’t switch the washer door. We probably will not use your latest brilliant idea because we want the counter top to be lower. I agree we need an overhead ceiling light..but I have not picked one out yet. We do have it wired already so it will be easy enough. Please keep the ideas coming! We love it!😊😊😊

Hello Grandma 💜✨
Hello NY!!! Thanks so much. Sink cover is a good idea..thanks
That’s probably the worst countertop installation I’ve ever seen 😂 I’m excited to see the remodel. You have great plans.
Thank you so much! Yes that countertop was bad 😳

Hello Grandma!
Hello!
Leonard sure is a handsome fella!!
Anyone else have trouble with the video buffering every few seconds?
I’m sorry about that… I think something is glitchy with UA-cam today 😞
