Hi Richard and Aimee, I like this video, you guys have come a long way from where you started. I have lived in Alaska all my life, 76 years and your family has fit in very nicely to what the Alaskan lifestyle is all about. I haven't watched a lot of your videos because, I wasn't quite sure you would make it but, you proved me wrong. You did make it and it was because, you persevered through the bad times and just went with them. I am going to start watching your previous videos now. Thanks for showing an old Sourdough there are some real Alaskans living the dream. Happy St. Patrick's Day

Like how you’re able to preserve the fruits , citrus and apple in such a pioneer fashion. Grandma L. would be so proud of your efforts….L. is learning so many good and character building skills.

Nice juicer !! I don’t know why but i’m stressing out about your spring because i feel so bad when you’re going through the flooding stage. I can’t see any other way to get around it besides Richards suggestion that you maybe can make another driveway. It would be alot of trouble but probably would make alot less work in the future. I don’t see why nobody told you about the flooding so you could plan around it. They had to know that it happens every year. Thank God you put your house on higher ground !! Have a Great week and Thanks for sharing !!

Another driveway is in the plan but it might end up being one long one to connect the two sides of the property, would make it easy to move stuff. It’s on us for missing the fact it floods. It was only supposed to be every 100 years lol

Do you have a link to where you bought your juicer from? It looks like it works really well

Hey guys well I saw you juicing oranges and lemons I think you know what you can make is sorbet and then scoop sorbet back into the lemon or the lime rhymes and just use tin foil into the freezer or actually you could see her right outside in a box and in about 12 hours you'll have a nice solid orange sorbet with orange inside it's really cool
