0:50 I perform a Tab-catapult into the lake and drink the speed potion underwater. This gives me the effect of the potion without depleting it.
1:08 I collect a mana herb for later.
1:37 NEW: I consume the Snapper Weed, then position myself for a direct catapult to the castle. Normally, it would be impossible to survive this catapult due to fall damage, but by timing the effect of the Snapper Weed, which lasts 15 seconds, to run out before I hit the ground, I can cancel the fall animation and survive.
2:25 This is a better version of the catapult to the Fire Rain scroll. Thanks to Bartuś for sharing this idea.
2:55 I glitch through the floor in a different corner, because this allows me to avoid and survive the goblins and the demon more consistently.
3:15 In order to save time, I only dupe the minimum number of potions: I get exactly 80 mana, only two mana potions, and three speed potions (I use the lever that opens the castle door to dupe the speed potion). I have no backup potions.
5:25 I lure the lizard man away so that I have more time alone with the dragon.
5:53 Now I consume the mana herb I collected at the start of the run. This gives me enough mana to transform into a fieldraider and cast Destroy the Undead.
6:15 This setup to kill the demon is risky and very precise. I also have no backup if it doesn't work first try.
6:22 Dragon Counter Glitch. Each time I save/load and sleep, the dragon I just killed "dies again", and the counter goes up by 1. Once the counter is at 4, the game thinks I killed all four dragons.
7:23 Different catapult setup, which fails slightly less often than the old one, but this catapult is still one of the most random bits of the run. The time difference between landing directly in the monastery vs somewhere in the mountains is huge, and it's pure luck.
8:00 I skip going to the chest that contains the two wolf transformation scrolls. I don't need them.
8:20 Because I want to dupe the potion that's in my hand, I have to clip through the floor instead of using a transform, and then interact with the book.
8:29 Recharging the Eye of Innos here enables me to use it for a trick, and it lets me skip having to charge it on the ship in Irdorath.
9:43 NEW: Because I already used the Snapper Weed earlier, I can't use the same trick again here. Instead, I perform another Tab-catapult and then use my already-charged Eye of Innos in mid-air to cancel my trajectory. I stall until the camera catches up, and then I do a final Eye cancel right before hitting the ground to survive the fall.
11:42 NEW: This setup saves time by requiring less walking. I was very nervous here and took a long time, but it's usually fast and safe.
12:00 I drop the Eye of Innos mid-dialog to keep it charged. After the dialog I pick it back up - the dragon will not attack, so I have time to take a speed potion and position myself for the kill.
13:55 (after two failed attempts) I perform another Tab-catapult + Eye cancel to survive the fall. This is faster than doing a wolf hover, even if you fail it once.
With this route, a sub-12 time is quite realistic.
