My first Open Air ever. Spent only 10 bucks for the ticket. Unimaginable nowadays. From then on I´ve been on every Dynamo Festival. It was always a blast!
Mindfunk.
3 albums
All different
All legendary.
Mike Muir of Suicidal is as real as you can be. Tells it straight
Looking back, Vanessa was the best metal spokesperson! She did her homework. ❤️
That would be the goddess Julia Valet.
She was great I miss her and miss these times of MTV. Metal ruled the world and MTV played music
90s the decade of metal glory!!!
*80s
Early 90s ..not all 90s probably around 5% was only good becouse all metal becomes so shit oneway.its all extreme metal.i love thou alternative music back then.but metal?count me out ..i disdain nu metal like paparoach disturbed and all other cringe music.yes thers power metal but i got fed up sooner.i got sick witth their fantasy and almost malmsteen direction of music.they are all alike..
Agreed...80s 90s was the golden era of thrash metal
@richardlugo7009 so true man...one 90s great band is alice in chains..
ST forever!
Loved Headbangers Ball back then it was great.Really miss the show with the interviews and live footage they showed.Vanessa was great as well, brings bk good memories.
when festivals where still cool ... and not as hyped as today......
Great interview with Fudge Tunnel (haha)...early Gorefest and Fear Factory were awesome!!
my first ever festival......I was so stoked to see FF, amazing nostaligy.
Лет 16 мне было, смотрел концерт на VHS...сейчас мне 45))
Горфест очень сильные ребята!!
Gorefest is such an underrated band!! All of their albums are musically impressive...even when they changed styles in the late 90s!!
live in eindhoven один из лучших концертников всех времен
fucking mindfunk dude, best fucking band in the whole lineup other than monster magnet i fucking love them too
Great footage. Really dig the Suicidal Tendencies footage.
I was there… Mercyful fate reunion was epic. Stood right before the stage 🤘
me too. Best gig ever for me!
You should go see him again, he actually sings better now than he did back then, stopped smoking among other things, saw him twice in 2016 right at the front of the stage too, he and the band were flawless.
I was there for the first day. It was great. Nostalgic. Man i feel old now haha.
I sneaked into the Metal Market tent via the campsite for the second day
Same man... same😁
I'm 48 and loved these times, of course in Texas
Great 90'
Mindfunk ended their show with the sentence "you guys aren't ready for us".. we were swinging beertrays and after that remark they accidently ended up on the podium. What a great weekend we had.
Gorefest is playing in the background of the last part of the Trouble interview :)
dj Cis was een vrijwilliger van Dynamo, te veel jaren om op te noemen
Nostalgic thanks!
Scott Ian in the back realizing the new kings (from Kings) have arrived.
Wow! This is very cool! What a line up.
I love how Burton C Bell is wearing A Monster Magnet Shirt. Especially knowing that Monster Magnet played that same day as FF.
Who knew he was a fan!

Metal for Life
Und, gehst noch immer auf Festivals? ^^
Mercyful Fate gig was out of this world!
Good Times \,,/
I just came here to watch Truillo.
DIZZY!!!!! Amazing guitarist 🤘Nudeswirl 🤘

Fear Factory and ST are underrated
I was born 2 months later, damn..
Wool were a cool underrated band
Saw them with house of pain and rage against the machine 1:38:14
Monster Magnet:)
The gorefest guys look like they were brought there by their parents
but,, they stole the show
they released their performance as a live album. they rock live saw them open for Death in Chicago on the tour they talk about in the interview.
Well, a lot of bands are better in their early days!! Actually, Gorefest were always impressive!!
Nice cover of Evil by Monster Magnet. Cactus just ripped.
FF in great shape!
I was there!
First Dynamo I attended while stationed in Germany! What an incredible show it was! Y'all missed out!
These are cool as shit!!!! I hope to play there one day
What a thrashing weekend 🤘😎🤘
The reaction by that security guy 2:06:00 to the crowd surfer during Gorefest.😂
Lmao
I was there. Good Times.
lol@CycoMike 1:20:00 - what a nasty riff indeed!
Vanessa rocks! 🤟🤟🤟
GOREFEST RULES!!!!!!

Freak of Nature
Butt Rock before Nyckel Back and Creed era, OG's😉
I was there... all bands rocked! Especially ST and FUDGE TUNNEL - best time of Metal ever! Fuck the New World Order! \m/
Vanessa Warwick ! ❤️❤️
🤘🤘🤘
54:15 Scott Ian wearing a Biohazard cap on the side of the stage
Looking at Robert Truillo playing in Suicidal tendencies he had no idea what his future would be playing in Metallica.
54:00 SCOTT IAN
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
57:18 Pat from Backfire / Angel Crew with the black cap ?
I looking Paradise Lost Dynamo Open Air 1992
Last time i went to the Dynamo
Same here. I liked the prior places more.
King Diamond was ridiculous. Wtf is that voice!
he was sick - they mention it in the interview. but then again he always seems to be sick when performing live...
Anthrax with john Bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only Mercyful Fate that is good here...
lol Scott Ian & Danny Spitz indirectly badmouthing Joey Belladonna at 1:27:45
Not featured in this clip , but Mindfunk’s Billy Goat 🐐 is such a bad ass song . Slow, plodding, and freaking heavy . Does anyone know where the members ended up after disbanding?
Reed St. Mark the original drummer rejoined Celtic Frost. Jason Everman joined the military, did a couple of tours and eventually became a member of the Green Berets I believe. Louis Svitk , the other guitar player became a longtime member of Ministry after Mindfunk disbanded. Not sure what happened to the other guys.
Burton C Bell with a cool haircut
Dino Cazares before the tacos and doritos
Dave Wyndorf when he was only 100% under the influence, not 250% under the influence like he is now
Billy Biohazard with a non-blonde hair color
Evan Seinfeld with long hair
John Bush with long hair
Jeff Waters, a 90s teenager, wut?
Since when are looks so important in METAL?
funny how Hank Sherman puts in a Danish word in when he speaks in stead of using or....or...or he goes eller....eller....eller lol
56:00 Is it Minus (Merauder) shirtless with camo shorts ?
thought the same 57:20 we need to compare tattoos
Next time we need to drop a Cleavin Steamling on this show! I smell s##t! Bury them with the sh##t!
That fucking terrible performance of Scapegoat by Fear Factory was shown so many times on Headbangers Ball. Still not over it.
1:13:10 never seen a crowd so bored they start bottling each other instead of the band!
1:15:27 SxTx
The world was a better place back then ;)
What's that intro song?
ua-cam.com/video/XxcUbcxvx_g/v-deo.html
That "Braindance" song from Annihilator is so thrasher and gay at the same time! XD
Damn! fucking Mike Muir didn't need music to sing!!!
is that Mangini with Annihilator?! 2:17:25
1:27:43 gee, Scott Ian was a little bitter there, huh
Fucking gorefest man.Are they the best death-core metal ever?
on dynamo open air I kissed Vannessa 2 times
Watch it from 2:04:39 for same amazing crowd surfing! One guy just rockets up from the crowd! 🤣
King Diamond sounded reeeeally rough in this vid. Probably the only bad performance I've ever seen of him
ANNIHILATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JEFF WATERS IS A GOD!!
Weird: Grunge, Hard Rock and Thrash Metal at 1 Festival
Sheldon Cooper81 👍
+Gabriel Mesquita
Yeah i am just saying it was a unique and rare combination VERY unique and only possible during that Time period between 1990 to 1994 or so
huh ? at that time you had loads of festivals with bands like Suicidal Tendencies, Faith No More, Metallica, Anthrax, Rage Against The Machine on the same bill, festivals were maybe even more eclectics than now. Anyway in Europe, don't know anywhere else.
Mostly of the bands nobody knows jjs
Monster Magnet's singer was totally ripping Black Oak Arkansas' singer Jim Dandy's persona. Lok
Somebody actually had a real band called fudge tunnel?
Moz the great I saw them supporting Sepultura in Belfast probably around this time.
Great band. Sadly online steaming only on Pandora Premium now
Back in the day I hated so much Biohazard and all the rap/core/crossover crap that was tainting metal.
SxTx rule.
First year of bouncy wiggery bullshit too
when rock became nonsense
@1:27:40 lol…yeah right Ian. Those songs only sound right with Joey. Plus sure didn’t seem to mind going back there eventually. I hope they realize now how much better it was they established such a unique sound with Joey and not just another typical gruff thrash singer.
When the bands that destroyed classic heavy metal started, where was this fashion?
Annihilator the only professional band here
fake news
Barring a few, look at the band lsit. Yuck!
Anthrax were crap back then.
Dude what
@@noahpolston Anthrax were *already* crap, sorry. To me, from Persistence of Time they started their downfall.
Lycanthropunx To each is own brother, I respect your opinion🤘🏻🤘🏻
